For the Florida guys in the thread. I'm going to be in Tampa this week. Planning on hitting up Cigar City and Cycle but other than that is there anything out right now that I should look for in stores?

Go to Rapp for sure. Green Bench is close to Cycle. I haven't been to Coppertail yet but I hear good things, including a collab with CCB called Sabotage. Nothing special on the shelves right now but some real nice commons.

Framboise Noir is just an outstanding sour, really just a great balance of mouth puckering sour and blackberries in the background... luckily my friend decided to bring one that he had cellared last night...that beer alone is pretty much the reason Casey Blending & Brewing has gotten so much hype as it was Troy Casey's crown jewel when we was brewing at AC Golden... Cannot wait for the Belgian Style Sours to start rolling out at Casey later this Spring! (supposedly...)

Awesome group of beers! The Temptations and Nocturns, same batch as each other or different? If different, which did you prefer in each case?

NYE resolution - get to drinking (and ticking) what I have on hand.

Spiked sparkling apple juice with a little twang and a :astonished: nose

What shop? I find that Bay Ridge is a great place for some of the wider 'rare' releases

I visited Tampa a couple months ago and hit up several breweries. My favorite was CCB followed by Rapp. I was not all that impressed with Cycle. I probably had too high of expectations going in and they didn't have any of their well known beers on tap. After Cycle we went to 3 Daughters which is close by. We had fun there trying their offerings while playing ping pong. We also were pretty impressed with 7venth Sun in Dunedin.

The best bottle shop that I found was Beer World in Largo. It's not real big and does not have good curb appeal, but it is crammed packed with beer. About half the store is bottles out on shelves and the other half is beer still in case boxes. Go through both as I found some nice items in the boxes that were not out on the shelves. It was like a little treasure hunt. I had blast going through it all. Found stuff there that I couldn't find in any other liquor store in the area.

Damn. I started reorganizing my photobucket, but didn't realize it would screw up all my attachments...

Thanks for the tips. I will check out that store for sure. I plan on just stopping into Cycle to grab some crowlers. I'm planning on going to CCB on Tuesday for their crowler special they run that day. Hopefully they aren't sold out before I get off of the golf course. Not sure how long they typically last. I just packed and my suit case is jammed so I'll just have to drink almost everything I get before I leave. That shouldn't be a problem.

Matt, I think some of the Binny's down by me still have some. I will do some looking because I want to grab a few bottles for me and trades. If I find any, I'll be sure to grab an extra one for you.

I liked it a lot. Right smell and right taste for the genre. Glad I have a second one and one. Maybe the booze came forward such a smidge too much as it warmed up.

For a small town brewery, I really like it, but yeah, needs to be cold.
