Steel Toe Size 7. Finishes like Two Hearted and/or Racer 5, IMO a really surprising IPA. Thanks to maximum 12.

I do not mind bombers every once in a while but I am usually not a single IPA bomber fan. There are a lot of damn good IPAs you can pay less than $15 for and get more than 66oz.

The Sierra "hemisphere" beers are $4.99 even here in the overpriced world of CT. I'd put them up on the list.

I just tried the Schmaltz Hop Manna and thought that was pretty solid at the 4.99 price point. Lagunitas Maximus and Hop Stoopid are also worth checking out.

Hop Stoopid at four and a half bucks isn't bad.

Agreed... The Southern Hemisphere from SN is pretty damn good for under $5 for a bomber.

LOL me neither, but this one is what it is, and at 4.69 a nice way to try something new.

If you know of a local store that sells singles, it's pretty easy to buy 2 12oz singles of a world-class IPA under $5.

Torpedo or Celebration, to start. Also Stone IPA or Two Hearted. Lagunitas Sucks and Ruination are technically DIPAs but damn good too.

I can't quite get Hop Stoopid, Hemispheres, or Port for 5 bucks around here, but Long Trail Double IPA for 4.49 is pretty nice.

A lot of the better shops won't split 6ers. I don't buy from TW, and a bomber for 5 bucks is a nice test drive, and I pay 5 bucks for a draft at the Pub. So I get 2 fer. If Steel Toe was in 6 here I'd but it.
