Yeah I've been building the Beer Geek one for a while, have been considering when to open it, and acquiring the Alesmith collab (if I go for it, that is a pricy bottle...) would certainly be a worthy occasion.

Crap, I knew there were other parts to the Beer Geek series I was forgetting about.... I may or may not bother tracking those down before opening the horizontal I have; it'll depend primarily on if I intend to do it solo or with others; it's already up to 61oz, which is a lot but doable for one sitting; add on 2 Shakes, let alone a Speedway collab too, and no way am I solo'ing that.

 

No Beer Geek Vanilla Shake? I've got a bottle of that...

 

3 shakes if you count regular vanilla and BA vanilla.

I'm surprised there is no reviews for cocoa.

At the risk of it sounding like I'm inviting myself over, I have no problem opening these with your wife present as well.

ps - I was *so* close to writing "I have no problem doing it with your wife", with "it" meaning "the bottleshare", before I realized how that would sound... cracked myself up so I thought I'd share

You'd be doing me the favor of getting rid of it faster! I have all these whole or partial verticals/horizontals set up and no one to drink them with...

I've started inviting friends from work (non-BAs that are into good beer) over to my house instead of going to happy hour,I just telling them to give me whatever they'd have spent on a couple rounds at the bar, and I'll open bottles until they want to go home.

He just texted me and said his wife was in a bad car wreck. Has several broken bones but appears stable.
I'll be picking up a box from his porch. Not sure if it came from one of you fellas? If it did I can verify the contents made it intact.
This will obviously delay his shipment. I'm sure he's sorry but in this situation there are more important things than beer.

That really sucks man. It sounds like you two know each other decently well out in the real world, so if you talk to him let him know that we'll be thinking of him and his wife.
