    Well, I'm going to tease...fully clothed ****.

Got home today and my wife was mad as hell. Porch is destroyed. House about to come off the foundation.

And, I have no friggin idea who two of these are from. Had to pick up my son and left right away so it didn't get a chance to even look at labels. Going I get home early enough to open then and post real ****.

Big bear its guarding the house against more attacks.

I really liked it. Very light and tart with a little yeast. The cherry was subtle but there. It's was 2.7% I believe. This would be a great summer beer but I guess with the weather down here it's good most of the time.

    Hey Buck

Best wishes to Jason, his wife and family. Obviously hoping for a speedy recovery and glad it was not any worse as it certainly sounds like it could have been.

I was his recepient for a LIF he recently ran - goes without saying that his family's well being rank way, way ahead of brews.

Just a reminder! LIF entry is still open until the end of next wednesday. I'll have to play it by ear monetarily when I'm able to get the box out (might not be until late feb/early march), but I'm sure plenty of people would like a few pizza boy crowlers

By my count, I already have 20(!!!) entrants!

Thanks for understanding. I'll keep everyone updated. It appears she's fairly lucky to be alive. 2 fatalities in the other vehicle.

How awful for anyone to have to experience that. If anyone needs help filling a "fill in box", I'd love to contribute. If I'm his target, then no box is necessary. I'm sending positive thoughts to him, his wife, and all who were involved.

Today was a wonderful but somewhat stressful day. I saw that a package was delivered today at 1:23pm, but my girlfriend didn't see anything on the porch, so the box was MIA for a while. I was able to track down the box safe and sound, something about which I was doubly glad because of the BS @PassMeAZima went through the first time with FedEx.

I eagerly ripped open an awesome box, floored by each successive awesome beer, seeing a bevy of wants, should-be-wants, preferred styles, favorites, and awesome swag. I set up photos (somewhat hastily), took and uploaded ****, and then saw

Well... shit. :slight_frown: Really sorry to hear that, Jason, and wishes for your wife's quick and full recovery. Nothing else really seems all that important right now.

That said, you absolutely blew it out of the water with an amazing box. Either you researched the hell out of me and optimized your 150oz or you stumbled onto a configuration that hit wants, perma-wants/favorites, new and favorite breweries, and things I didn't even know existed but am now stoked to have in my possession. Amazing job; I hope knowing that I am floored by what you sent helps lift your spirits even a little, and I'm wishing the best for you and your family.

    The box:
Country Boy -- Infinite Sadness Imperial Black IPA aged in Bourbon Barrels (sounds amazing! New brewery for me!)
Deschutes -- The Abyss 2014 (I love this beer with a year+ on it, and being out of Deschutes' distro now, it's awesome to have gotten some of the latest batch!)
Jackie O's -- Dark Apparition (@Mipper gave me one of these around Thanksgiving, and it might be my favorite non-BA RIS... so happy to have more of it!)
New Glarus -- Strawberry Rhubarb (Always happy for NG Fruits... my girlfriend loves these and I try to keep them on-hand at all times. With her in town, she was quite happy to see this arrive!)
Great Lakes -- BA Blackout (!!!! This has been pretty high on my "attainable BA stouts I've not yet gotten to try" list... now I just need to pick up a regular Blackout to get a reference point...)
Hopping Frog -- DORIS the Destroyer Double Imperial Stout (Stoked! I'd have missed this on my own, but I am very excited to try it!)
Schlafly -- Imperial Topaz IIPA (my first Schlafly! Also one I'd have missed on my own, I suspect, but am really excited to try!)

    The swag:
West 6th mug (I don't have my mugs, so an awesome new one that isn't ludicrously large will see some good use!) and t-shirt! I love the can design on the back of the shirt, and am really happy to see the west 6th logo on anything after the BS from Magic Hat. Thanks again!

    Cheers!

2014, sorry for having not put that in the Haul post. I went back and forth multiple times over whether to buy a 4-pack of Blackout while I was in PA, but obviously it didn't happen. Regretting my poor decisions lol.

If, for some reason, you still want it and will be back in PA at any point in the foreseeable future (doubt it, but I don't know your schedule), I could pick up a 4 pack of Blackout and just hold it until you return. If you only want 1 or 2, I'd have no problem drinking the others of course, but last I saw plenty on the shelf locally.

Though I'm sure you have easier connections

I honestly might not, so maybe if you can grab 1 or 2 for me that would be awesome. Not sure when I'll be back in PA, but at worst we can ship some small boxes at some point when Westbrook Gose comes out again...

I have a 2013 I'd be willing to send you, unless you were trying for same vintage to compare.
