Almost drank a Fred tonight, but right before opening checked the updated HOTD site and found the vintage was from 2008. I bitched out and decided on a lesser beer. Weaksauce I know.

Good job with the Russian River. Number 23 all over that. DON'T drop acid and look at that bottle!

If that's the case, someone brew me a sage DIPA w/ saison yeast, stat!

Cellar Door, the white sage really is a great touch. It's not in Stateside though, is it?

HI GUYS. Thanks for the compliments! From top to bottom the meats are: Winter Salami, a country ham I got from Heritage Meat Shop (I think you can order from them online), and a jar of pork rillette also from Heritage (paired with the grainy mustard sitting next to it). The cheeses from top to bottom are: Drunk Monk (washed in brown ale, funky deliciousness), a quarter of Winnimere, and then Cabot Clothbound Cheddar naked as well as with honey and cracked black pepper. To the left of everything is a peach and basil butter, it's only the second compound butter I've made but it was so easy and a really fun addition to the usual meat/cheese spread (channeling my inner Ina).

It's excellent. I was disappointed when I saw that it was in Chard barrels because that's usually a turn off for me, but it's fantastic.
Edit: Oh and it's 144 IBUs!
