    Hey guys I kinda lost track of the LIF that was started to give @IPAFan521 bourbon county that he wanted to send to me away to someone that did not have a hoard like I have accumulated. If the world ends tomorrow and my family and I are locked in the basement....we will be drunk!

    Ok so I either missed or did not get a response to the following three questions from the following 3 BA's/SWTFYWers!

    1) Do you live in Chicago
    2) Have you won a LIF
    3) Do you have more than a 4 pack accumulated of BCBS?

    That sucks, but like others have said, maybe it turns out for the best. At least you wont be blindsided by it if it happens, you've at least got some warning and hopefully some time to find something else.

    Get there early and don't volunteer for bucket duty. In the past, I've heard that brewers (if short staff for the event) would pull from the volunteer pool to serve as pourer...which might limit your ability to bounce around.

    I've only volunteered for one shift a few years ago...

    ...I didn't have the same experience as Seth. Got there on time (read: late) - got stuck doing bucket duty (emptying pour buckets stationed throughout the floor). While I did have the option of jumping the line for places like Lawson's, I spent a lot of time keeping my head down, working, expecting to get taken care of at the end of the shift. Instead, it was a bossy "you're done" and no volunteer post-session perks.

    Then again, I'm not nearly as charming as Seth, so that could account for some things.

    Uncertainty sucks. I hope things work out okay.

    Jobs are a funny thing. I'm starting to get to the age when it feels like my career is as much of a prison sentence as an opportunity. And sometimes I fantasize about ignoring all the state mandates, going out in a blaze of glory and then writing a book about how education today can just suck it.

    No more line jumping. No more volunteers pouring. I'm lucky I'm someone who does brewery check in so no slop buckets. However your position is pre determined before you get there so unless you're actually late (by more than 10 monies) you're not punished

    also post session only post the last Saturday session. They do a pre party and a post brunch. Brunch is nice and you get a $20-25 voucher
