Worst beer you've tried

if Boston Beer called it a Cranberry Wheat, it'd do well. It isn't even vaguely Lambic.

 

For anyone saying things like Shiner Bock or Yuengling...

Look, I know that taste is subjective, but if that's the worst beer you've tried, you're lucky.

 

I was looking for another person that would agree with me. This beer tastes has the taste of rotten egg shells and burns all the way down. One sip and it was down the drain.

I still have a 2011 bottle in my fridge. I bought it to cellar, but it still sits there waiting for its next victim.

 

Seriously!?!?!?!?! I think it's really good. Usually Mexican Chocolate Stouts are 10 bucks for a bomber. This one is 10 bucks for a 6 pack and it's delicious.

 

In recent memory Two Roads Unorthodox. Just not for me. Very dry and bitter for an RIS. Yes I understand why they named it, just don't market it as a style when it has almost no qualities of said style.

 

Lazy Mutt Farmhouse Ale by Minhas Brewery is absolutely terrible. I was unable to drink more than three sips.

 

Magic Hat Starlit (Star Anise Porter)

One of the single grossest beers I've ever touched.

 

I see cherry wheat mentioned a couple times... Has anyone has a cherry wheat -or stout - that was decent? All the ones I've tried, the cherry tastes like a syrup was added.. I'm holding out hope for Short's Black Cherry porter this fall, haven't had it yet.

 

Corona smells like wet dog and tastes like a flooded, mildewy basement. I will never understand what yuppies see in this beer.

 

It's not one of my favorite's, but I actually kind of liked it. Try it with some spicy Thai or Indian and it adds to it a bit.

Worst beer I've tasted and had to drain pour was Golden Road Brewing's Gingerbread Stout. Taste like cough-medicine soda and didn't resemble a stout in the slightest lol

 

A small brewery about 20 miles from my hometown make a ghost pepper stout. Absolutely disgusting.

 

I don't remember the bottle count on my bottle and the pictures I took don't have it in it. I believe it was bottle #180 someting or #160 something if that helps

 

Milwaukee's best light. So nasty. Taste like sand and water mixed. I would rather drink someone else's piss that drink that again. I was in college and was looking for the cheapest buzz I could get. 6.99 a thirty rack, I couldn't beat it. Never again.

Ed Hardy Light - Made the mistake of saying "surprise me" when someone offered to buy me a beer in Mexico. It was gross but out of respect I finished the whole thing, then quickly ordered a Red Pig.

 

Throwing out BMC-kinda beers and stuff I had too long ago to remember accurately, including Ommegang's Aphrodite (I was "against" sours back then)...

• Shiner Ruby Redbird - especially since I like grapefruity beers, I was stunned at how unappealing this was
• Long Island Potato Stout - obscure, small batch local brewery; Dry Irish Stout; think: watery Guinness

 

I am a Cigar City fan, but hve to agree with you that the Cucumber was a huge mistake....

I don't particularly like smoked or chile beers, so those as a group will be at the bottom for me. Chili Pepper Ale comes to mind.

 

Wow! Sorry to hear that. PLEASE don't toss the rest of them, there are plenty of us that would love to have a few more in our cellar.
