Worst beer you've tried

    Overall: any of the Bud Light 'ritas. All terrible, and really only marginally "beer".

    For real (non-Macro, non-spoiled): Full Sail 25th Anniversary Pale Doppelbock. Just a sweet, biscuity mess. Kind of a surprise -- I usually like Full Sail.

    I never understand the hate on Cherry Wheat -- I think it's a perfectly reasonable beer. But that's just me :slight_smile:

    that brings back fond memories of TC Manas. I only had one of those and then switched to Tuborg Black.

    For me:

    Sam Adams Cherry Wheat
    Stone Crime
    DFH Tweason
    Bayhawk Imperial Brown

    This year was bad. I wish the brewery would admit it. In the past Christmas Ale was wonderful.

    Brahma. Hated it and did not finish. Drain pour. Gave the other five away.

    The one I just poured down the drain about an hour ago. Wild Blue. Syrupy sweet tastes more like yucky candy than how a beer should taste. There are no redeeming qualities other than it's high alcohol content. Who is the market for this?

    My personal worst was Double Chocolate Bock from Pittsburgh Brewing that I got at a beer exchange. Got 4 bottles, couldn't finish the first one, tried it again a few days later and still thought it was awful so I dumped all the rest.

    Sam Adams cherry wheat and Great Lakes Xmas were also awful, but nothing compared to the double chocolate bock.
