i am hoping ccb comes out with information on how entry will be for the event. that should give people an idea when to show up. regardless, people will still be showing up at 9:00, and based off how long it took to get in last year, i really dont blame them. i hope they have a good system on getting people in very quickly. it seems like a long time 11-4 but if you factor in the lines being long, that would give you a chance to try maybe 10 beers the entire time if you are wanting to do it solo. i plan on getting a beer and having extra taster to try other beer my buddies have gotten.

I will get there around 10:30am. As long as Gunhaver doesn't say," No need to show up early." Then I'll be there the night before.

    Wow that sounds like murder...

Are you going to Pliny the Younger? I will be in line on the 6th. Hoping for no rain this year.

oh man don't start this lol

no rush to get bottles, no bottle sales period (i.e. secret case of DBH sale), I'm sure they don't want us there early. I've already decided to just pass on Morning Delight, so there is literally no reason to be there earlier than 10:50am, which is when I got there last year

ha, like I said, I walked inside at about 10:50 last year, went right to the Huna bottle line because my wife is sober, and was literally there just to take our 6 bottles home, err, shopping. the ONLY other people inside at that point were on line for Toppling Goliath, and the line was 200 deep

I'm going to opening gala of SF Beer Week, but will line up for Younger on following Sunday or Monday.

What are the popular tap lines at Huna day? I've never heard of Morning Delight or Toppling Goliath before. I personally wanted to try Heady Topper, Founders CBS and Big Lushious, Funky Buddha,Three Floyds, and of course Cigar City. Will some of these lines run dry? How about Hunahpu variants?

if ccb went and saw how fb ran maple bacon porter event, then the lines wont be attrocious. i waited 5 minutes in the busiest part of the day for a beer. they had people taking tickets, ordering the beer, and had "beer backs" constantly pouring where all the people taking orders had to do was turn around and grab a beer..now, this will be a little different at huna day, because we are getting a tasting glass, so the lines could get backed up somewhat...i know at funky budday around 2-3:00, there were more than 2K people there and besides inside the bar, getting a beer was relatively easy. there is going to be phenomenal beer all day long. i dont want to wait 45 minutes to get one of the more timed releases when there will be plenty of amazing beer to be had in shorter lines.

If they're truly brilliant, here's your tasting glass, fill it with the plastic cup full of pre-filled taster we're going to give you once you hit the head of the line.

Also, I'm REALLYYYYY hoping for a mini-snifter this year with quality logo, rather than a tiny tumbler with a logo that's half rubbed-off before you even get it home.

So, I totally forgot about that save-the-dated wedding in Orlando on the 14th at 4:30. Got the invite today. Hope it's cool if I show up late. And drunk.
