Why would a distributor care if one person buys everything or a different person buys each bottle? They still make the same $s.

Also PW doesn't use a diatributor or a truck.

You're right - distributors don't care; but breweries and shopkeepers do. Since PWs self-distributes; truck chasers are a phenomenon they'd probably take issue with. They want the PWs love spread across the broadest consumer base as possible. Creates more fans equating to more customers which in turn allows them to increase production and subsequently get their beers in cans which I cannot wait for!

I agree this is an excellent beer. I think the notion of oysters turned some people off (no oyster flavor transferred, just enhanced texture) - more for you and me! Still on the shelf at @ForemostLiquors in Arlington Heights as well as 12 other places. May want to call ahead to ensure they have it.

I hope they wound up with nothing but an empty gas tank.

So uh, this Crimson Snapper is pretty much blowing my mind. Soooo good. Also grabbed a Cinnamon Beer-Os.

Coming to Chicago the end of April (23-26), and will be staying in the Wicker Park area. Should I be able to come across some Pipeworks stuff fairly easy? And where would be a good location to go to for some bottles?

I thought I did not like this beer a bunch until I noticed that I had consumed 3/4 of it in a few mins. This is one of those beers that puts you in a hypnosis. Many cannot wait until those 4 pack cans start dropping!

Envious of those who get to try the Lizard King. While I won't get a chance to partake, I am pleased that I was able to track down a Crimson Snapper. Now, the trick will be holding off until Superbowl to crack it open.

The Lizard King will rule my fridge when cans become available. One of Pipeworks best beers. The aroma is incredible.
