Review Revisit fridats for some 3-4 years ago reviews.

Solid doppelbock. Pleasant aromas with toffee, dark bread, chocolate, cocoa, and dark fruits; pretty clean, but a bit muted. Taste of caramel, toffee, toast, dark bread, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, brown sugar, nuttiness, raisin, plum, fig, and herbal hops. A fair amount of herbal/roasted bitterness on the finish. Good complexity of malt flavors with balanced dark fruit notes; Pretty clean lagering, not overly estery. Some notable cloying bitterness on the finish really kills the mouthfeel. Mouthfeel fairly creamy/bready with some stickiness. Alcohol is really well hidden with a minimal warming finish. Overall it was still enjoyable and solid.

Good Imperial stout. Pleasant but muted aromas of dark chocolate, coffee, toffee, toast and molasses and a touch of herbal hops. Taste of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, toast, toffee, dark bread, molasses, light licorice, and light char with a touch of herbal hops. Light amount of herbal/roast bitterness on the finish. Nice malt complexity and well balanced bitterness/sweetness of roasted character. Nice moderately creamy mouthfeel with a bit of stickiness. Very smooth. Well hidden alcohol. Nicely enjoyable.

This is a bit of a let down to be honest. 2014 batch is 8.5%? Extremely muted aromas consisting of some chocolate, caramel, toast, and coffee with some raisin/plum dark fruit notes. Taste makes up for the aromas. Taste of chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, toast, dark bread, and light char with some light raisin/plum dark fruits. Fair amount of roast/char bitterness on the finish. Good balance/complexity of dark/roast malt and modest dark fruit notes. Good bitterness/sweetness balance of roasted character. Robustness and body are fine given the ABV. Overall, it's still really tasty and definitely enjoyable, but I am going to have to review this again later this year. Lowest ABV batch ever made, they are supposed to be 10-12%.

The label has changed, but the beer has not, still the same great beer. I've had it many times with the old label, and now with the new label. Thank God, they did not change the beer!

Evening BA! I haven't been around much for WBAYDN lately but I'm glad to be back here tonight.

I started off my evening with a FW Union Jack and am now on to a Fresh Squeezed. Cheers!

At three times the per ounce cost of Old Chub or Dirty Bastard, I won't be drinking a lot of these. But I'm not sorry that I bought one.

Sam Adams Rebel Rouser, I would buy it again. Key & Peele's Superbowl special, funny, but I may be drunk as even the Sponge Bob movie looks interesting to me right now...

Third week in a row I've dropped 5 pounds. The reward for getting under 210 is Fremont Dark Star Coffee. This is amazing but not a coffee bomb. Very smoove...very creamy.
