I sat back and had this all to myself...and holy sh%* was it good.

 

I'm guessing the fault lies with Bevell, the OC, since Carroll is more a defense guy. Oh, well. They still had a great season, and the party I was at was fun, anyway (well, except for being festooned with cat hair).

Had to drain pour the Choc DOPA a horrid mess, tastes like infected Sorghrum (sic) with nasty grainy bits. Finishing on a Coop F5. recording this Lamb of God, as the Palaces Burn. Very sure I will be snoring soon; hope so!

Second time having zombie dust.. Probably the last time (I don't trade) but man o man .. This is GREAT beer .. Definitely lived up to the hype .. I've had fresh alpha king before and thought that was stellar but this beats it out easily .. Great beer given to me by a good friend in the beer bizz.

 

Man, that sucks. It's hard for some of those businesses that are out of the way from heavy traffic. Gets hard for them to move product the way it needs to be moved. Unfortunately for those business owners, it usually ends up closing the business if it gets too out of hand. I have seen several go out the same way.

I am lucky enough to be in the St. Louis area, so I can get it pretty fresh and in quite a few locations. Earliest bottled on date was about two weeks, I have never seen a bottle sooner than that, which may just come down to their distribution schedule.

 

Its not over!!!! As for Three Floyds, make great beer, but a huge pain in the ass!

Listened to this other night on the way home From Tulsa, some great songs on that album & about 5 fast forwards or skip tracks to use cassette/8 track vernacular The captain & me was favorite album from these guys by far. Saw them & an Joe Walsh at Wheeler Army Air Field or was it Schofield Barracks??? Back in the late 90s. Good concert, spent most of it looking for my wife ( was too stubborn to get cellphones back then ) as we were separated early, my fault had too good a time pre concert & failed to establish a rally point My wife still gives me dirty looks when what fool believes comes on the radio...
