    Boy, everyone is drinking some fine brew today!

    Reached for the darkest depths of the cellar for this 1st gen Pirate Bomb and it's aged perfectly. Nice chocolate/cappuccino girth and the rum has turned into sweet sticky buttery dream. Fantastic! Now it's off for some Tex-Mex and margaritas with the Old Man and my girls. Happy birthday to my old ass!

    Stayed at Spencer Abbey for a few weeks and worked in their production facility. Beautiful place, can only assume great beer is produced there as well. Trappist Preserves / Jellies / Jams = World Class!

    Moving on...my 25oz Bud has bit the dust. In keeping with my downward spiral I will try a Leinenkugel Big Butt Doppelbock. I've passed by this beer so many times in the beer cooler without a reception that I feel like Russell Wilson in the first 20 minutes of the Super Bowl...Badabing!

    Honestly it pretty much taste like their Snowdrift Vanilla Porter...without the vanilla? I actually like Snowdrift...wish this had vanilla in it :wink:...oh well, beer drinking is like traveling...sometimes it's more about the journey than the destination.
