Bruery 2015 RS/HS Allocations

at this rate I may need to put my wallet into protective custody. There's a lot of really expensive beer left. Really excited to see Or Xata come back though.

 

It's going to be a couple of lean months with older inventory tossed into the mix to pad it out as they don't have much in the way of ready sours.

 

Ya, seems that way. Hopefully Rare Barrel comes through in the mean time. I enjoyed Or Xata last year, probably grab some of that.

 

"To just give [The Bruery] money in advance" is the whole point of the membership. Plus you have already received (theoretically) $200 worth of beer in the initial allocation.

 

So I hate to be that guy, but I can't get Mango Hottenroth this year as a Hoarder because I wasn't a Hoarder last year? Thats is kinda BS.

 

It was last year's beer delayed. So, yeah, no need to be that guy.

 

It was a beer that was meant to be released for last year's hoarders. Why do you feel as if you deserve the right to get it?

 

I have to admit that when I saw Or Xata re-appear today that it gave me a beer boner.

 

What was the beer that they had in the tasting room that was basically Or Xata with coffee? They need to release that lol

 

Wasn't it just Imperial Or Xata? Because that one was awesome-mode.

 

The one in thinking of was called Rice & Beans. Don't know if there was any relationship with Or Xata but it tasted like it

 

Question: Mango Hottenroth is available only to 2014 Hoarders members, so are those who were Hoarders in 2014 and dropped their membership for 2015, still able to buy Mango Hottenroth?

I don't want to fall into the bitching category quite yet, and there's still a lot will dictate if I continue my membership in 2016, but if we go through a few slim picking months, I can see quite a few beers falling off. It's not like it hasn't happened before.

Okay, well I have nothing to even begin bitching about. I know I'll get my beers regardless, so all good in my book.

 

As the email states, "for those of you who opted out of our 2015 Hoarders Society, don't worry as you will still be able to log in and purchase this beer." It's a 2014 Hoarders beer, logically anyone who was a 2014 Hoarder gets it. Would be pretty illogical of them to punish people who didn't renew by denying them a beer they were promised just because it took longer than expected to produce.

 

Rice & Beans was Or Xata with Coffee added. And it was fantastic.

 

You've clearly been wronged here. You should really give them what for by ceasing all purchases and not renewing for 2016! Then maybe they'll understand the consequences of treating beer royalty so poorly.

You don't get a 2014 HS beer because you weren't HS in 2014. Doesn't really sound like BS to me.

 

Oh No! I just went to buy a case of Or Xata and received the following message, "Your quantity exceeds the stock on hand. The maximum quantity that can be added is 0." Beer boner is now flaccid.

But srs, I think they'll fix it tomorrow. Or they'll release a new and improved infected version.

 

I didn't realize it was a last year thing.

 

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but looks like you can buy 4 more Hoarder tulips.
