I have no self control


My pregnant wife thought it would be a good idea to remodel the fireplace 3 weeks before she is due I have found the best course of action in this scenario is to leave town. Unfortunately, I got saddled with project management. I love being able to see the outside from the inside when it's 24°F outside

Dammit, FW makes these anniversary beers so tasty! Just a TAD thin for me but outside of that it gets perfect marks.

Just reviewed New Belgium's LOF Gruit (4.2). My first of the style, and it was outstanding.

Marking the Day the Music Died:

 

Watching the snow fall lightly and sipping on this Bells Cherry Stout. What a unique beer. Coffee and chocolate up front, tart cherry in the back. It does sort of remind me of those chocolate covered cherries I use to eat during the holidays. Enjoy your evening all!

What a great beer! Last week I was lucky enough to meet Ken Schmidt at Rip Current Brewing and we shot the shit and talked beer and brewing for a good hour. If anyone is ever in the San Marcos area, go find a brewery and maybe you'll see Ken hanging out! He's an awesome guy and man he really can brew a great beer, as shown by this Mint Chocolate Stout.
Also gotta say Rip Current is doing some amazing things over there, can't wait until they start bottling which is hopefully very soon.

I got it yesterday here in antioch. You should get it today or tomorrow. Last year no joke though, when we got hit by that storm that was like one we just got, but worse. A truck carrying all the hop slam that was due for out here was involved in that huge car pile up that made the news! I had to goto Milwaukee to pick up my hop slam last year

 

Clearing out the last beers from holiday and superbowl parties.

 

Oh and I got grooved a growler on the house at Sam Adams.
