I haven't had mole smoking wood...I hate smoking wood so I haven't tried any of the variants.

would you say it's in the Salma Hayek / Eva Mendez realm, or more like Michelle Rodriguez / Selena Gomez?

FYI - just killed the rest of my bottle I opened last night. It drinks WAY better on day 2. The flavors seem to blend a lot more. MAX DEM BITCHES OUT YO! :grinning:

I said that before, but those are exactly my feelings about 90% of Bruery's non-sour beers. Can't wait to try it, thanks for the input!

I still chuckle when I see the name Freckle and associate it with mole/molè. Will definitely be maxing on these.

Agreed on the Bruery Day-2 phenomena. I find it especially true of the big blends. I am enjoying my first Blue BBLs tonight and it is delicious. I expect it to be excellent tomorrow night as well.

Anyone else think it's puzzling that The Bruery isn't releasing Freckle, Or Xata, or Mango Hottenroth in the tasting room? I would hope that they'd at least put in a teaser that they're coming later in the month. Whenever I don't see beers put in the tasting room for tasters, it makes me feel like something is wrong with them.

Well Mango Hottenroth was last years hoarders so that I wouldn't expect. As for Or Xata and Freckle, from my expereince, we get them before they go in the tasting room. Usually the Monday after our allotment ends, it shows up.

Or Xata last year was awesome so I wouldn't be worried. Depending on the additions I wouldn't worry about Freckle when it comes to infections.

If Mango hit the tasting room it would only be available to HS.

I asked about the possibility of a first year HS member buying left over bottles and I was told the yield was so low that there probably wouldn't be any left over bottles. They planned on 1 bottle included and 2 available for purchase, but reduced it to 1 available for purchase.

Last year, they typically released all (or all but one) the weekend following the initial allocations being put up.

I understand Mango Hottenroth being an HS beer, but I know I wasn't the only person that requested more HS beers in the tasting room during those surveys.

They have had like half the 2014 HS line up available for awhile now. Last time I was there wineification, befuddlement, and blue bbls were available for HS. What more could you ask for? Kevin's Fuzzy peaches maybe.

Maybe they just need tap room or other to go away before they can put the new rs beers up.

Question about the Hydro Flasks. I know it keeps your beer cold for a long time. What about cooling the beer back down if it's been out of refrigeration for a couple days? Does it take a long time to cool back down because of the good insulation?

It will take apretty long time... If it doesn't need a lot of carbonation just pour it into something else to cool down.

Holy freckle! I feel like it is very prairie bomb esque. Honestly, I'm considering buying 1st quarter preservation (in add'n to my rs) just to get another bottle!
