    Mayflower Alden "D"IPA

    Mmm, quite tasty. Much more traditional than I could have possibly guessed, given the hop load (Chinook, Citra, and Mosaic). Comes across more like a single IPA to me. But really good. Glad to have grabbed a 4-pack of this.

    I need to buy a new piano after tax season.

    Filled the bird feeders out in the woods. Going to be a few months before we see any bird life resembling this label. Just the run of the mill blue jays, cardinals, finches, and sparrows for now. A solid beer, but I prefer it with a year in the cellar to tame the sweetness. Time for some house cleaning and tunes next.

    Batch 36. This stuff really is the best year round shelf BBA stout of all time. At least around here. Incredible balance between coffee, cocoa, barrel and malt flavors. So smooth.
