I get you. There are breweries I feel that way about. I misread your post. Cheers. Making amends after many months

Wow. I like that beer. It's name is Dubhe (pronounced "doobie" because of the seeds in it). A lot of my friends like it too.

It's funny how subjective taste can be. Maybe you had an old one? I was wondering if it turns into a stout when not consumed fresh, or if just tastes bad like an old IPA. I have one in the fridge that's about 3-4 months old. I wanna let it go for a few more months before i test it.

Any "belgian style" saison, quad, or tripel made in Richmond VA. You guys have no idea how much I would like to find a fresh well made local Belgian style ale on tap in Richmond. None of them measure up or even come close.

And dont say "Hardeywood Singel" cuz its swill.

I forgot the name of that unita brew probably because I just got done with a doobie. Hemp taste not so well in general.

    Magic hat circus boy(?).
    Shocktop(s).
    Seadog blueberry.
    Shipyard pumpkin.
    Sam Adams porchrocker.
    Coors light summer brew.
    Narragansett dels lemon shandy.
    Miller products.
    Labatte apple lager.
    Allagash curieux.

Relating to a post above- I once tried a sixpack of budweiser that had been forgotten about in Thanksgiving snowstorm, then snowed on, and frozen. Finally thawed in april, rechilled, and consumed in May. That was far better than anything listed above.

Hard to say. I've had some that were spoiled, morbidly beyond their pull-date or just crappy to begin with. I think that does make a difference.

My worst score (1.22) was for Keystone Light, but it was when I was a NOOB and was just piling on an easy target. I'd probably be a little more subtle now.

My lowest grade, non-"this had to be a bad bottle/can" and/or "this is too old" beer of modern times (2011) was an adjunct lager called Silver Stallion, gave it 1.58.

Oddly the one the springs to mind first without looking at my reviews is Rocky Coulee's Winter Ale. I gave that a 1.81. I suppose it sticks out more because it was a regional craft beer that should have still been fresh, but was irredeemably gross.

Not that surprised. We rip on Budweiser, but the level of consistency is unreal. They're the McDonalds of the beer world.

Wild Blue is pretty goddam awful for anyone with adult taste buds. Dental emergency sweet and 8%, I call it a date **** beer because it's what I imagine a sleazy frat boy would use to get into the pants of an 18 yr old.
