Bruery 2015 RS/HS Allocations

F: Smooth Criminal. Not a huge fan, but will give a whirl to get the job done. Don't want it to stick around longer than that night though, for sure.

M: Bois Fume. I have no idea how people don't love this. Maybe I'm delusional, but for real, I'm in love with this beer.

Are you hearing that from the same people who said SHIT was fine and would be released in December? Not questioning you, but based on the rumors that people report coming out of the Bruery, they either like feeding people misinformation or there are people there who don't actually know what's going on. Not sure which you'd prefer to believe.

 

It's gotta be a doppelbock, right? Because goats?

 

Most of it is just shop talk at the tasting room or society desk, so I take it with a grain of salt. I was going to ask in more detail at the society event on Monday. I like to believe they give the best information they can. I'd rather they get it right the first time, if the first batches of the new brand have anything close to a qc issue, it would be a nightmare for them. Better safe than sorry. As long as it's not too long!

 

My guess is June from what I heard and Filmishmish is supposed to be the first "Terreux" release.

But, I didn't get a notarized letter with this information so it's probably just something I pulled out of my ass.

 

I actually read an interview with Patrick a few months back that said they hope terreux to be up and running by April (not tasting room but at least pumping out beer). I can't find the link now so my best guess is Apr-May we should start seeing some terreux stuff.

 

So if CR is next month, it should be on tap at SMM. Hopefully its not as insane as January. That line was insane!

 

the main reason why I don't even bother with that member monday part. The tasting room is crowded enough. I don't see much benefit in making one crazier day out of it.

 

Melange 10 will be avalible Saturday for tasting to Hoarders that had things embroidered.

 

With Chocolate Rain and Or Xata available to us lowly Reserve Members. I'll take the Chocolate Rain, but it doesn't beat last year when they did they anniversary ale vertical at the embroidery pickup.

 

I dont mind the busy tasting room, They came out with some awesome bottles pouring free tasters while you wait in line.

 

that's the reason I go to smm, I show up around 7 and its usually died down quite a bit by then. usually no lines and access to whatever bottles they bring out.

The january smm was nuts though, I think its because they weren't checking for cards to get in, because many people hadn't received their cards yet.

 

So who is going tonight? We should grab a beer together and I'm happy to get some hoarders stuff for whoever comes...just bring cash. I'll be there from 5-730ish.

 

Im going to try and sneak away from the lady and the kids to grab a glass, who knows if I will succeed!
