It may be too late but if you're just going to pour the XIII down the drain I would suggest cellaring properly and then selling it. It'll likely be worth a couple hundred bucks in a few years.

Buffalo Bill's Blueberry Stout ............ I rated it 3.3 but in retrospect, it should have been lower.

Budweiser & Clamato Chelada was absolutely nasty.

any old ipa, but the worst are aged american(bitter & hoppy) barleywines. the sweet toasty malt with huge bitterness just turns into an experience akin to chewing on bitter dirt, twigs and molasses cookies with finish of pure bitterness. west coast style hopping and dry-hopping makes a beer that is only pleasant for about one month.

I appreciate your honesty, but disagree with your conclusion. I was thoroughly confused by it, but ultimately enjoyed it.

Cave Creek Chili beer. Like a Macro but with chili peppers stuffed into the bottle. Simply undrinkible!

Oh wait I almost forgot one! Bayou Teche LA-31 Boucanee. What swill. Tasted like water that had been soaking wood chips (you know, the kind they put downing kids' playgrounds?) with a bit of liquid smoke added. Truly awful.

I concur. My girlfriend is from Lafayette and when visiting i sadly tried this. What a miserable experience.

Two tied for worst, came from a neighbors mixed 12 pack of Shock Top. He thought he was doing me a favor buying craft for my visit. Interesting that the 12 pack took the top 2 spots in my "worst beers ever". In no particular order - Pretzel and Honey Bourbon. There was another in there - Chocolate. I couldn't even try it after the horrible results of the first two.

Mephistopheles' Stout by Avery. It was very expensive and even more disappointing. It's the only brew from Avery that has let me down.

Faxe Extra Strong has been the only beer I have opened and not finished. It tasted like straight ethanol and I couldn't do anything but pour it down the drain.
