Them and FW and Tröegs and Cigar City... Every one of those was rumored in the past year or so. Still none of them here.

He got the 15% right, so I'd guess he just made a drunken typo.

    22 oz = 650.83 ml
    25.35 oz = 750 ml

    So [(25.35 oz - 22 oz) / 22 oz] * 100 = 15.24%

i figured the 15% was fairly accurate. The 100oz was what made it hilarious

These fabled 125oz bottles of BCS should come with a scratch-off promotion for a liver transplant

It makes the bottles stand out on the shelves. When everyone else is doing 22oz bottles, having a slightly larger size makes you noticeable.

Honestly, we haven't seen bombers of BCBS since '09 anyways, why are we complaining about ANY large formatting?

I, for one, live in a state where we didn't get distribution of Goose Island until AFTER the buyout, so you won't see me boycotting them.

I'm praying to the InBev gods for some Juliet...

It doesn't state that BCBS will be in 750s, just the Vintage ales.

Considering that Founders has mentioned producing 3x as much KBS, maybe Goose Island should ante the F up.

Why the hostility? It's extraordinarily expensive and risky to increase capacity by that much, and it's a decision that shouldn't be made without serious planning and consultation. If they try growing too much right now OR if the market subsides in the near future, the entire company could go under. That means ZERO bottles of your favorite beer.

Besides, GI's primary "expansion" was completed (and kicked in) about a full year before Founders' expansion. Not to mention the 2012 batch of KBS was the final beer produced on their smaller brewing scale -- it won't be until March 2013 that we see an increased batch size of KBS. The next round of BCS will already be 6 months old by then.

At least get your facts straight before being confrontational.

    Ha. The Internet strikes, again.

Did you at any point consider that it may be a joke?

Lol, I like how the one guy keeps talking about all the bourbon he tastes in it...even though it wasn't barrel aged.
