+1. Market Closes at 3-3:15.. skipped out of work about then (Usually stay till 3:45ish) and was one of the last ones to get one.

A lot of the complainers here..

Guy mentioned they might sell another round at some point.. but I don't think all 480 bottles will get sold (or at least the guy selling made it sound like they wouldn't). I'd imagine investors, friends, etc got some.. and they'll probably same some to see how this develops.. some for events..

No unemployed person is going to drop $35 on one bottle of brew. I'd guess everyone who bought a bottle today has a job.

Didn't realize ba behemoth was 30. Oh well there goes that theory. Just hoping to give people something else to complain about FFF for.

You credit unemployed beer geeks with WAY too much fiscal responsibility.

Yeah, I'd like to think that was the case, but I personally picked up a few Rares while still job-less in grad school a couple years ago. Ended up selling most of them to my friends at cost, but the initial investment was way more than I should have been spending on one beer...

I'm so mad this beer that I just found out they were selling today sold out before I could get one. How could FFF do that to ME !

Hey now, I'm not stirring no pot if you're unemployed. I'm just jealous I couldn't get there in time. I just hope I get another opportunity because this time I WILL LEAVE WORK WITHOUT HESITATION.

So back to my original question: no word yet on any of the other release times/quantities?

I don't know where that whole 90 bottle thing came from, but I saw wayyy more than 90 people grabbing bottles in the short time I was there. Assembly-line style.

When I called earlier, the girl I spoke to said they only sold 80. Might be some truth to this....

Regardless they sold a very small amount of the bottles that they have. My guess is there is going to be at least one other opportunity, just like the in-person DLD tickets this year. Unfortunately, I took vacation for the next couple of day and I was off but ran an errand to the northwest suburbs...bad timing. With traffic, didn't get there until after 5:00, an hour give or take, after they sold out.

However grabbed a few brews, a quick dinner, and a high five from Nate Nelson... :grinning:

EDIT: However, let it be known I'm still pissed they didn't check with me regarding my personal schedule... F**k FFF for selling this the day I was out in the suburbs.
