I want a little girl... Daddy gets a Benelli Nova Tac, or a Remington 870 with a pistol grip. Wife approved. A shotty with a drunk daddy, and 2 angry twin brothers ain't really inviting. I've got up against some rough daddy's and bro's back in the day when I was slinging yogurt, and I don't know if I want the double whammy I'm gonna toss out!

Good beer? Oh yeah dude. IPA, a vanilla porter, White wine barrel aged sour, and duh.. Peach lambic. Maybe a stout or BA stout, but depends how heavy I hit the roasted malts on the porter and how long I age it. Makes the booze bill cheaper in the long run if I can brew a year in advance.

Baby girl would have her work cut out for her, but I suspect it would be an expensive venture. Momma and baby out shopping while me and the twins dig holes, brew beer, play golf and grunt and fart all damn day, we'd have to give up some territory and let them do what they want.

Damn Oskar Blues bought Perrin. Should be some SWTFYWers affected by this purchase. Hopefully in good ways.

It is for cooling the beer. Normally meant for wine, but it works with beer too. You freeze it and it drops the temp about 15-20 degrees from where it is. I was just impatient and wanted a cooler beer.

I don't think mine was infected, just oxidized, but I do remember some rumblings of some bad bottles from the last release. I think a friend had a bad one. Hopefully yours escaped that fate.

    Miss you too boo...

I'm headed to bed.. hoping I don't piss it tonight.

Anyways.. I'm gonna be doing some tasting, testing of gravity and pH in the morning of some sours. Some have reached a year, and other nearing it.. Might looking to do some blending.

Serious question, and honestly, don't worry about hurting my feelings. I've tasted some shit commercial beers, and even shittier homebrews. I'm honest about homebrews, as I think it's needed to strive and work for better.

Who here is okay with getting some homebrew beers in a box with with some other turds. Thats about all I mail these days. I promise my wax jobs will be worse than the ass bottle @dust_bunny got. Like the post or reply if you like homebrew that COULD be as good or better than commercial shit, but aren't weird about getting something not commercial.

I'd be afraid of it introducing too much oxygen; in wine this is no issue but with bear it's undesirable. Had any problems with that?

I would be so happy to get some of your homebrews, and while I'm no BJCP judge, I think I have a pretty good palette, and am definitely not shy about honest feedback. Only caveat is you have to drink my homebrew when I get up and running again.

edit: in the same way I'm collecting SWTFYW handshakes I'm also collecting homebrews. Have tasted @jdhowe, @ThreeFishes, @saemick, and my own, and courtesy of @Houser I have one of @Haywire's. Yours would be #6 unless I'm forgetting someone.

Cause I can handle it. Only reason I can think of.

    Round 3 done.

Ladies are both sleeping. My wife got sad and blamed herself but I held strong and told her it wasn't her fault. We have taken the kid to that restaurant before with no issues. Think the car idea put her over is all. Cleaned the car seat but all the blankets need another round in the washer. They still stink.

I wish it wasn't so late. I want to drink some beers and get drunk but I'm too tired.

Going to see about leaving around noon tomorrow and still enjoy the night in Dayton with @Double_EZ

I trust you of all people would think of this on your own (being an RN), but be careful it's not food allergy. Vomiting is one of the primary symptoms my 4 year old has exhibited the couple times we discovered a new allergy. He's allergic to eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame seeds, and 3 of the four we discovered the (not too) hard way.

Yeah we already ruled out dairy products a while ago. All she ate was chicken and chips with some salsa. I'm attributing it to too much spice aad trying to sleep in the car.

Oh another awesome thing happened today my brother in law texted me telling me he was going to Jester king to get two Montmorency vs blatanon then an hour later texted saying he wasnt.

Yeah I'm going to bed. I'm bringing this party to its knees.

How much more oxygen is it being subjected to vs pouring into a glass?

I suppose not much now that I see the interior, but it still is hitting a surface (the chiller and the glass) twice. Anyway, that's why I asked!

Still seems to have good carb. I don't use it for beer very often, but it comes through in a pinch when I dont want to wait 20 minutes for freezer chilling.

You know I will call a spade a spade...and if I don't like it, I will send over some of my shitty homebrew in return!!!

While loss of carb is another potential issue, I was asking about oxidation due to extra oxygen exposure.

Nevertheless, it seems to be an effective item; from room temp to "cold enough" just from that?
