Great I can take Mike off the Loser LIF list!!!

 

By now, it's no secret that my life fell into shambles a little over a year ago and I fell into a deep depression, neglecting to hold up my end of a few beer trades. I won't bore you with all the details, but I took a year away from craft beer and got my life straightened out. There is no excuse for my actions, but I have taken the steps to repair them. To this point, your responses have been gracious. I hope you all understand that this was an incredibly difficult decision and that it would have been much easier to assume another identity on BA and move on. But the truth is, I have not been able to enjoy a beer with an easy conscience for quite some time. I hope that each of you will find it in your heart to forgive me.
That being said, if any of you have a problem with me returning to this forum, feel free to express your opinion without a rebuttal from myself. If even one person doesn't want me here, I will bow out graciously and quietly. If I do remain, I willingly take any and all heat and trash talk that I deserve. I will always ship first and will never take it for granted that every LIF may include me.
Lastly, regardless of your responses to this post, I will be posting a LIF very soon with Side Project beers as the focus. Thank you all for your time and feel free to respond how you deem appropriate. Forever indebted to each of you,

Jeremy--I'm sure it wasn't easy for you to set foot back in here. If you read back through the thread, you've been subject to some derision, and under the circumstances I don't think anybody would say that it was unwarranted. That being said, you've made amends to @Dicers and are apparently in the process of repairing the damage done to @CTJman. I myself believe that life is too short to hold grudges and fully understand that shit happens. If you make things right with Seth and Jarrod and they are willing to forgive and forget (at least forgive) then so am I. Understand that you will be walking on eggshells for quite some time as this group has really grown into a family since you were last seen in these parts.

 

Life has many twists and turns. We all are human and make mistakes.....I have made plenty of them in my life. I for one believe in forgiveness and redemption. If @Dicers and @CTJman have made peace and you have the gumption to post what you did and do what you have been doing, then I have no issue with it and I wish you the best ongoing and recognize the efforts you have made and are making. Not everyone would do what you did, but even fewer would come back in the manner you have.

 

You're good in my book. Seems like you're making an honest effort to make amends so I'm cool with it. I'm also a sucker for underdogs and second chances. Maybe even third chances. Hell, everyone knows I'm a pushover. Just don't 007 us again (can we still use that as a screw someone over reference or is too soon?)

 

Hey man- I'm glad things are looking up for you. Yes- you screwed a couple of guys in here over, but it definitely seems like you're making amends the right way. To come back here in the lions den is proof of that. We've gotten a lot tighter in here than when you left, so there will probably be some coldness towards you for awhile from some guys. Personally, as long as things are right between you and the guys directly involved, then I hold no ill will for you. You seemed like a good dude back in the beginning of this thing, so I'm willing to give a second chance. Cheers man, and good luck.

I have thick skin. I have no problem with it. I rather expect it. And evidently I need to learn how to quote a post.

 

First off. Points for working to repair things you left broken. Much respect for that.

You never screwed me personally, so have no hate. But as previously mentioned we have grown into a much closer bunch and you were the butt of many jokes.

If you truly want to fix that whole mess, stick around, talk with everyone, be a good dude and beer lover, and send Bronce @phishbfm the new Side Project glass (totally kidding on that one).

 

It takes a lot to own up, make it right, and come back in here, and you're doing it the right way. I commend it and encourage you to keep it up. My early impression was that you were a stand-up dude and bona fide crusher of porches, and that you belonged here as much as anyone else. Forgetting is an idiotic thing to do, but so is not forgiving, and I, as others here, am all about second chances when warranted. Keep doing what's right and I'm sure you'll find, despite some heckling, that things work out just fine around here. Life happens, and it's good to see you come out on the good side of things when all's said and done.
