Did I ever rant about my 4 Hands Madagascar mishap?

So I have a local place that would hold bottles for me on occasion...ok.:.pretty much anything I wanted.

They were holding Madagascar and a volume 1 for me to pick up after work some day a few months ago. When I get there he says that the Madagascar was long gone but he held one for me and that V1 was on the shelf to go grab one. I get to the register and as he is bringing the bottle up from under the counter, he clips the counter and ends up dropping the bottle and it shatters on the floor behind the counter.

I thought I was going to cry. How could something that looks so bad, smell so good!!

Sorry Nick. It all happened so fast. I was just trying to get dinner for my family on the way home from Atlanta, but things quickly turned ugly.

so full disclosure, as soon as jeremy 007ed, i reached out to him on a few occasions spanning a number of months via bm and did not hear a response. without knowing the reasons for the disappearing act and knowing that a number of people were really pissed off at him, i kept it quiet for a while. i just didnt think a guy who sent me diapers and champagne glasses both for and to toast a newborn respectively, would just up and leave, let alone sell a bunch of beers that were owed to others. i held on to that thought for a while as i feel like i am a pretty good judge of character, but i finally gave in since the silence was deafening. long story short, jeremy and i have been communicating since his reappearance, not for advice, but just to lend a welcoming hand. i owed him nothing, and he owed me nothing. he explained his situation without me asking, and i fully support everything he does go forward. i promised to keep our convo between the two of us until he was ready to jump back in. well, the time is now. and while i forgive him and let him know there would be many steps and a lot of time to repair what was lost, there are still some questions that need answering. personal issues are none of our business unless you want them to be, but i think swtfyw needs to know a few things:

• why sell the beers there were owed to others (this i cant understand)?
• why not just ship and then disappear?
• why come back? what is to gain?
• what else can you share that can make others trust you again?

i should note i made sure jeremy was ok with me asking questions publicly. one final thought: i told him he was being drug through the mud and 007 has been synonomous with disappearing. his response was pretty awesome: "I'm sure I deserve all that and more. I knew coming back on here could start a backlash. I also know that it takes a lot of balls to do it. My name can continue to be associated with abandonment. Maybe one day it will be associated with forgiveness and making amends."

We had such a sick time in ATL that the entire family vowed to come back soon. My friends in Decatur are trying to get me to visit for a beer fest in October, but if not there's always sprng break 2016. I'm pretty stoked about the promise of ATL beer. Okay, the Braves in Cobb is STUPID, but I couldn't help but love the city again.

I only have a few things to say and most of them have already been said. We all get into some shit and we all deal with it differently. I don't know if I would have the balls to do what you are doing now and I hope I never have to find out. If only you went through whatever this was 6-12 months later in life, you may have seen us more as a family than we all thought from the start. Although I do not know what you went through, I am glad to see you out on the other side!

If you never did what you did, I do not think @Dicers and I would be as close as we are now. Also without you I would have never connected with @CTJman and I would not have my Gandhi-Bot collectable snifter!

Like others have said, we are a family, but as we all know, every family has that crazy black sheep cousin right! I don't think any of us have the right to tell someone they are not welcome here. But if I need to vote I say welcome aboard.

First thing you need to do though is sell the Free Candy van though...that shits creepy...
