After visiting at least a dozen times to that God forsaken island, I have no problems saying that. Hell, the locals would even agree with me. But for a 20 year old sailor that place was Disney land. Nice beaches, a million strip clubs and shooting ranges with just about any gun you could want to shoot, and all the
Booze one could drink.

Home from a pretty wonderful road trip. Here are some pics from @Roger85's LIF that were either emailed by my friend or posted to his FB page. Needless to say, he tore into a couple of those immediately (after inviting some friends over).





We used to joke that he looked like Trey Anastasio when he was younger and had actual hair. But I guess they've both grown up now, haven't they?



Thanks so much, Roger. It was fun getting texts from Gary and watching the fun unfold all afternoon.

 

Back to back pRon from me today. This is the box of madness that @Mipper handed to me last night. I'd won a random LIF b/c he somehow felt responsible that I'd gotten boned in a trade. Crazy talk, but still.

My family was traveling up the coast from Atlanta, and we actually made it as far as Harrisburg on the first day. My incredible family thought Pizza Boy was a good idea. Eric thought he'd save some postage if he handed me the box while my family was eating. Of course, we all know how he operates: he of course crammed even more into the box, thereby negating any and all savings.



He knocked out a bunch of wants, whether official (white oak Jai Alai, BCBCS, Bretta Rose, Black Tuesday) or not (Silva Stout, Sunday Morning Stout). Plus a bunch of great ones that are always welcome in my fridge and belly. The Imperial Biscotti Break is actually for my wife as a thank you for allowing me to be Beer Mike last night.
