Shit, I don't even remember what I sent. Evidently a gose and 39 pounds of Budweiser select.

 

So a makeup box left STL for @CTJman today. @bruindre will have his 2013 Abraxas leaving STL tomorrow. The Side Project LIF box will be leaving the STL on Wednesday. And I still owe a box to @jfstilling which will leave the STL next month. Looks like I'll be drinking Schlafly for a while.

 

As long as you don't run out of TIPA, there are worse fates.

 

TIPA, AIPA and Pumpkin Ale are the only ones I like. But damn, those are 3 fine beers.

 

so im just catching up...great conversation on this topic. im glad i started all this jazz with a couple of you fanning the flames.

so im not judging people that trade this way, im just saying its flawed, and has repercussions more than just the trade. extrapolating it a bit further, value trades drive "value" higher and higher, and then the next guy trading the same beer wants more or sees what he can get for it, and fleeces the next person more. in turn, it prevents the little guys, maybe people like me, from being able to get their hands on it, let alone trying it. it might make that person happy, but i know many, many people that wonder why the f they gave up so much. i guess im going on the motto that no beer is that valuable, nor will it change my outlook on life. so for dustin, i understand its been a game and he has had his fun chasing them. im not judging him, and from what ive read and heard, he is a pretty awesome dude. even sounds like he is going to share all those beers. im not going to rip him. im going to send him some beer at some point over the next few months. i just dont like the value trading philosophy. lastly, im sure there are some people that really dont want to give up their beer, someone makes them an offer they cant refuse, and then they make up for it. sounds like dustins cuz was like that.

im done with the topic. guess i just have to not participate in placing value on beers and drink them like @RayOhioFelton.

 

I still have a few bottles of pumpkin. Which reminds me I need to drink those
