Ditto this list... although Wild Heaven would be on the bubble too.

I was at burnt hickory this weekend. First visit. The hype did not disappoint. They had a sour ale that was incredible. They are on the cusp of huge things. Me thinks. I also had my like one millionth tropicalia from Ccbc. Very good.

Here are mine in no particular order:

    Monday Night Brewing
    Orpheus
    Moor River
    Terrapin
    Red Hare

I'd like to add that I haven't tried anything from Creature Comforts or Burnt Hickory yet being that I'm so far South in Georgia but hopefully that happens SOON!!!!

Sounds like Creature Comforts will be a big win. Might have to hit up Wrecking Bar as well. Does Burnt Hickory have bottles in stores?

Burnt Hickory is pretty regularly on tap at the growler shops in Macon and sometimes at the Rookery. I think both of the growler shops have bottles too. I mean, at least it's closer than Kennesaw?

Thanks for the heads up! I only live about an hour South of Macon so it's definitely closer than Kennesaw for me.

So I went to CC today. The Berliner was outstanding, the IPA pretty good, and the other mainstays were average. I was really disappointed they didn't have anything pouring other than the regular lineup. For a place that is open twice a week for 3 hours, I think that's poor form when they give you 6 pours and only 4 beers to choose from.

They have a great space and enjoyed the people as well.

That would mostly be due to GA's shitty beer laws. We're trying to get them fixed... it's not easy. They're technically giving you free beer; you just paid for the glass.

I picked up a bomber of Cannon Dragger and Old Wooden Head at Hop City over the weekend. I plan on cracking them open Friday night. I have a feeling my Georgia brewery list may change very soon, especially after finally trying Tropicalia over the weekend.

Be sure to keep an eye out for Three Taverns' A Night on Ponce, which should be getting a bottle release in the next few weeks. The change in yeast resulted in an even better IPA from them.

I did the same thing coming back from the 420 Fest. These two beers were fantastic and I now have a new favorite brewery in Georgia.

After today Creature Comforts is the best thing going. period. The others are just stops...... seriously. Burnt Hickory is hit or miss. Three taverns is the next best. a night on W.E. if you see their le Peche mode it is awesome....

Others... terrapin messed up and discontinued their best brew hopzilla.... the others and average at best. Please please take my recommendation seriously.

Skip the big boys sweetwater and terrapin.
