Please, not another filthy Yankee. Y'all reproduce like rabbits up there. Guess there is nothing else to do when you are snowed in.

Pains me to say it, but Welcome!

Sixtercan sign ups are going well! Just a reminder I'm still accepting people!

Also my frequent package store now makes you pay for a beer club if you want their more "limited" stuff, does anyone else subscribe to one?

I do subscribe to a beer club at a bottle shop in Northern Kentucky. $90 for 3 months but I did the $250 for the year. With the club you receive a $30 box of beer per month (selections based on personal preferences from a survey filled out), 36 hour advance purchase options on limited stuff and a lot of time that stuff doesn't hit the shelves for the "public" (BCBS and BCBBW did not for example). For me it makes a lot of sense because I travel so much that I cannot be around for weekday releases and it also gets me out of standing in line.

On another note I have a bottle shop that will hold limited releases for me in the back. I have frequented this shop for a while now, bring in beers to share with the crew, trade for beers by request from the team (thanks to folks from this group) and have made good friends with the owner. I am sure many of us have relationships like this they take time to build up where as the beer club is the easier more rapid solution.

    Hope this helps!

Lol, that's what I thought too although I had already opened it.

Is that even legal? Does the cost include any beer, or just membership so you can buy things others can't?

See this I would do, I'm getting something for the money I spent, besides just "access". What I actually do (nowhere near me does the former) is the latter; I've developed relationships at my local bottle shop and my local Whole Foods, and my distributor (for cases) as well though they use a sign-up sheet for limited stuff, but I'm generally near the top for stuff I'm interested in.

Yes they did. We did a four year vertical last year or the year before and some were twist top and then some were regular, can't remember the year they made the changeover.

Wow, that was quick. Didn't know they could chop it off, turn it inside out and insert it back so quick. You're so brave.:stuck_out_tongue:

Edit: that's what you get for using Grits in vain.
