Ever broken or spilled a great beer?

Thankfully, no...

Well years ago i opened a Jolly Pumpkin Lambicus Dextrius took a few sips and poured down the drain!! Wasnt at all familiar with the style and just was like ewww... Now i regret that im sure it is/was very good.

 

Knocked over a fresh pint of Second Fiddle last night..was able to save about a 1/3 of it, but damn, my carpet has never seen something so tasty hit it.

 

Knock on wood, i have never broken nor spilled a great beer.

Tho i have broken a couple of really nice glasses before :\

 

These comments give me the willies. *knock on wood* I've never broken a nice glass or nice bottle. *knock on wood*

 

I knocked over a nearly full bottle of a 4-5 year old Avery Mephistopheles at a tasting a couple years ago. I luckily had already poured myself some, but I didn't get to share it with the tasting group and I absolutely love that beer with age on it. At least it was my bottle. I would have felt awful if I had broken someone else's that night!

 

white chocolate stout I was SO excited to have and It was a godly brew. I ran outside since I saw my father in law and neighbor
talking to see if would like to try it and have a few. full glass in hand slipped on a mound of ice from a previous snowfall
I tried to save it but I landed sideways on that shoulder and I hit the ground and the impact, made my extended savior arm bend and the beer flew out of the glass vertically. I thought about eating that snow.

But to make a happy ending, you still drank it. Right?

 

Dropped a Xocoveza in the parking lot. Thank god was still at the store and got another more. Also, dropped(didn't break) but spilled almost an entire bottle of Delirium Tremens in a party full of nothing but Corona light.

Reading this thread is more masochistic than watching Game of Thrones. A very profound sorry to all the victims I've met here today.

 

You bring up a solid point. Cans: Single Wrap. 12 oz Bottles: Double Wrap. Bombers: Tripple Wrap. That's my method of trading.

Most won't find it too terribly special, but my buddy once was bringing me back some Warlock and Fat Jack that I was REALLY wanting to try (thankfully have since then) and the bottles shattered during his flight somehow.

 

Damn near almost broke my puga royale, thankfully i got spidermans reflexes tho!

 

Knocked over a glass of Parabola last Thanksgiving. So bummed.

 

Definitely wasn't a great beer, but I had the hilarious misfortune of spilling a 40oz. bottle of Dogfish Head Liquor De Malt all over my mother's carpet. She was none-too-pleased with fresh-faced 21-year-old me.

 

I spilled my last Vanilla BA Framinghammer a few months ago. I was heartbroken.
