Not necessarily on this site, but if you bartend or serve at all you will hear "dark" constantly!! Dark to the masses apparently means anything without the word "Light" in the name. "What do you have on tap that's dark?" "Well I have this stout, and this stout, and a couple porters...a black lager....". "I'll take a Honeyweiss."
    WHAAAAATTTT?!?!

"80 taps of craft beer". Hell, if a place has more than 6 to 8 taps, it's obvious that they have something other than macro lagers. They don't have 20 taps each of Bud, Bud Light, Coors Light, etc.

I've always hated the term "sexy" when referencing anything unrelated to sex (beer, Apple products, contemporary American cuisine, etc.)

Only when they're really drunk and talking about sour beers.

Referring to every new or seasonal beer that comes out even if it's just through normal distribution as a "release"

It's not necessarily about beer but I've seen people using the phrase "said beer" a lot lately and I find it mildly annoying.
Ie: "I went to the fridge and grabbed a beer and then poured "said beer" into my righteous FFF Teku"

    Also, creamy.

I hope to never hear "quaffable" in the wild...that word really bothers me.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned "mule" yet. It's used in just about every limited release EVER, hahaha.

How can a phrase be overused? If I want to say it, I will.

So many of these words are carry overs from the world of wine reviewing. Some that annoy people like barnyard, funk, horse blanket, cat piss, mouth feel, creamy, cloying, flavor profile are standard and fairly knowable descriptors. Whalz Bro and Wow Beer annoy me to no end. In New Zealand, "cat pee on a leaf" is common. It's a big world of words.

So any term used in craft beer culture is "overused" according to this thread.

Amazing - this word is overused to the point of nausea. Also, most people use the word to describe things that are far from being amazing.

Other (beer-centric) terms I hate (yet have been previously stated:
-> Dank - although not a word in its own right, it seems that "vegetal" would be a better descriptor
-> Crushable - Again, not a real word so I would err on the side of using terms like "sessionable" or "high drinkability."
-> Catty (or cat pee) - The "offensive" aroma in urine (especially feline urine) is NH3...or ammonia. Why doesn't anybody ever describe the aroma of beer containing ammonia?
-> 'East Coast / West Coast' IPA - Totally ridiculous...whatever.

    I'm done...but just for now!
