We appear to be in the middle of a round that's so early that I sent last round and this round at the same time... oh, and the interesting part of this round is that no one assigned targets so its basically a free for all.

As for the next scheduled round? Don't think its been discussed. Maybe a monthish or two?

I did this a few weeks ago and had the exact same sentiment. At first I though 15 was way better b/c of the pronounced flavors, but then I kept flipping back and forth and just decided they're both awesome and different.

Also, I had volunteered a while back to run the next round, but there seems to be some conflict on just when it should be with all the stuff going on in people's lives, as well as upcoming BIFs/rounds in other BIFs. I'm thinking of starting signups in early may and possibly doing a vote (either a "mini" round or a "full" round), but honestly at this point I have no clue, and someone will probably jump in and just start it at some point (kinda like how round 5 happened so impromptu)

 

Are we still planning to do the "big one" in July for the 12-days-of-Summer-BIF?

 

Sounds like you got left out of joining the civil war started by your countrymen... you should talk to them about that. As far as an actual "round" I would assume that having just finished one and now are diving right into this war, that we won't do a "round" for a while, but that's just my guess.

12 Days of Summer is its own thing, not in this thread. I tried to get it housed in here, but @bevoduz (who runs it) was not interested in joining the fray and prefers to keep it its own separate thread with open sign-ups. I've also been tossing around the idea of a "large" BIF not within this thread but with this war, will be holding off until after the dust has settled from 12 Days of July rather than trying to cram it in now.

By any chance, do you know when the signups for the 12 days of July start? I think I remember early April but I think that bevoduz is super busy with other things. So looking forward to it!

 

The tricky thing is that the more often we do rounds, the fewer people will be in each one. I think everyone will participate when the time is right for them, but each round's pool of participants will be smaller than if we spread them out a bit more. I'm not saying one way is better than the other, just that it's something to consider.

 

Sorry, no; you'd have to ask Chad. I know he's been pretty damn busy lately though.

 

My two cents is that a couple of big rounds a year is great with a couple of small ones interspersed; things like all the ninja boxes and this war are a completely separate thing. The scary thing to me is that people ignore limits and send 300 ounces when the limit is 150, I don't know WHAT is gonna happen when the limit is 300 or 400.

I actually prefer the little rounds but somehow find myself in this North-South thing; I would definitely prefer to wait for a big round (and do not plan on doing the 12 days).
