MLB 13 Runs 2015...way early.....

Ok, went to the video review. Watched Terry Collins... lots of pointing, and he stayed on the field until the 1st base ump came to break it up, but... he didn't even take his hat off, nor was he out of breath, not enough in my book. I originally said I'm looking for at least kicking dirt, and now I will add "at least throwing a hat."
Brian Price ejection was a technicality, new rule is you cant argue a replay. Barely any finger pointing, "personally, I think he's just trying to get out of the lineup"
Less than 2 weeks in, and already 3 ejections (that I know of, haha). Only a matter of time before we get a good one !!

Hey I didn't claim it was my idea. Credit where it's due, @Haywire ran the first BIF like this in SWTFYW and while he may or may not have come up with it, that's the first place I saw it.

I'd recommend one group BM (like the sign-up for this thread), anyone in there will eventually see the list anyway so no privacy concern with sharing your info among the group.

It's been noted this will go for at least 25 weeks, and probably longer, so you're only really asking the first handful of people to skip over you anyway, imo no issue with it.

 

I hate asking for favors.

Hey now....don't drag me into this thread by tagging me. And no, the idea isn't completely original. I believe they are referred to as shotgun BIFs. The only originality I provided was running a BIF within a Hints and Hauls thread.

 

I think you have it backwards, a "Shotgun BIF" is where everyone sends out at once, like a shotgun blast (what we consider "normal" BIFs) whereas a travelling box is a "Traditional BIF"

 

Yeah that's what I meant. I had both terms in my head and just wrote whatever came first. Traditional is the one I am going for. I guess the only other original thing I brought to the traditional BIF is that the one I ran had a ton of people in it. Most traditional ones limit it to a handful so they don't take as long.

In either case, quit pulling me into other threads. You're gonna ruin my rep.

The Locals (definition more obvious) actually has 3 different ones going on at the same time right now, one a 6 shipper, one is 6-cans+extras+glassware, and the third is themed around highlighting a single brewery for the whole box.
