Grrr... One box landed in MI, one box has a delivery exception in NJ, return to facility for inspection. That doesn't sound promising :slight_frown:

Well, I'm glad I was home to quell the damage from a Yankee porch bomb.

A certain "fluffy devil" sent me the following box of Northern love:

Cannot get enuff of that Reg Coffee. Also, I may be most excited about the Kane Teku! I have just shy of 50 glasses, but this is my first Teku. It's about time I get one.

Thank you @devilfluff for the "marinades". :grinning:

Having a cup of coffee with my lunch….. Holy Crap is this good and coffee forward. The smell of coffee poured out of the bottle when I popped it. You southern gents getting a supply of this brew are in for a treat, since your brewing hickory nuts for coffee now that embargo is in full effect.

I hate cleanse diets. I just ran four miles and eat salads. Though the older you get the harder it is loose weight, my current regiment, I would be 34" waist, and 180-190 in my twenties, push forty, Im fighting for an 40" waist and 240-250.

I know I'm still quasi lurker in here, and this is a cross post but

serious moment so ignore if you please.

Today is the 2 year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing. If possible I ask you all to take a moment of silence at 2:49 EDT for the 3 people who lost their lives and 264 people who were injured in the awful attack.

2 years later and this is STILL " Our Fucking City! "

We are One. We are Strong. We are Boston. WE ARE BOSTON STRONG!

I think part of the problem is that there are many other people out there across BIF-land that want these other rounds to begin. It isn't fair to them and others inside this group that aren't participating in the North v South skirmish to have to hold off.

Another thing is that if you (or me for that matter) want to participate across every single BIF, LIF, thread, etc you've got to be all-in or prepared to sit some out. I know I'm going to have to as the LOCALS and SWTFYW is enough let alone all of the other side projects.

So before the war broke out, I did a 3:3 trade with a Southern, Before I shipped my "Box", I heard about the southern aggression and added a second box to my trade to be sure I would counter any attack on my homestead. Now this not a regular southern, he was smart enough to use UPS, not the Box Blocking FedEx here in NJ.

For one, we know southerns are bad at math, here is the box, this Reb used to ship 3 bottles of beer:

    Than I found this letter:

My cat, whom I believe has southern roots, was begging for the box to be opened:

So I carefully opened the box, scared of what animal might have been accidentally shipped in a box only meant for 3 BEERS and this is what I found:

I wish I wasn't late for work and I would comment on each of these FINE brews, all being perawants, wants, or should be wants, except the Dixie Beer, I feel that is a taunt, but its ok I sent some DC Brau Citizen for the same reason to remind the South that they are citizens of the USA. And of course my cat seems to love these southern brews so much, my next shipment south will include him so he can go back to the country that he loves so much.

Thanks so much for this @PassMeAZima, Im glad I went over board on my end of the trade. Wink wink.

Like many days in my lifetime, watching and hearing in real time from my hotel the World Trade Center being hit, I remember working out and the breaking news. My wife was in Brazil at the time, I face timed her in seconds to tell her about the situation, since she was flying home in a couple days not knowing the extent of what was going on. Sad day for all of us, but we are stronger today.

You're absolutely right; I spoke up only to help maintain perspective about how much is going on at once, not by any means to make a decision for the group.

By all means if there's enough of a group to run a round (even if that's 5 people, it's not like there's a minimum) I'd love to see it happen. As much as I'd love to join every single thing that happens, I enjoy looking at the pron even when I can't.

Basically, there's no "have to" hold off, and there's no one "in charge" (we don't have a single Charles in this group....) of when we do another round. If those people that want a round to begin speak up and there's momentum, great; if they don't or there isn't, that's fine too.

    Dear Rebels,

I know you guys suck at artillery and have trouble reading but you hit an empty porch today.

We have since abandoned the fort at the Columbus locale.

While I appreciate your sad attempt at attacking I'm afraid that I can't properly acknowledge your generosity since I am now in MI and my family is not at Ohio either.

I'll see if I can send a message to a neighbor.

The rest if you rebels take note I'm not at my Columbus address. I am in transition to Grand Rapids MI.

I suspect there are enough people interested to do a "real" round, but I don't know at this point what to call a big round and what to call a mini round -- I will also be "publishing" the membership directory within the next few days which includes BIF history, I think we've got about 20 people who weren't in the last round, so there is probably a decent potential participant list
