I had intentions of sending this box to said person before they became "squeaky". Just for the record.

 

I've always wondered how soda bottles hold up as growlers. I assume they'd be ok just to get home with and open right away, but I couldn't imagine them travelling well. Sounds like my hunch was right, at least for the latter part.

Speaking of bottle shares, Is there a Locals 2.0 bottle share planned for Texas in late May?

Speaking of bottle shares, I wonder if we should call last July's Houston share "Locals Share 0.0" now that @ajaylock @EA728 and @cultclassic89 and I are all in here?

 

Glad to hear it landed safely! I tried to take it back to be more local in this round. Don't think there was anything in the box that wasn't within 2-3 hours of me (keeping in mind that I claim Minneapolis for now as well). Luckily some breweries in the area have really stepped it up lately, or at least have started bottling and distributing when they weren't before (in particularly Quest, most of their stuff is fine but not great... except for Kaldi which is a pretty awesome Coffee Imperial Stout).

That's a daytrip for me. I live 75-90 minutes from there.

 

Dammit! That was a pretty awesome time though, my first Cantillon and my first Westvleteren and my first Jester Kings all on the same day

Over an hour for me, but depending on what I'm up to a daytrip is possible; keep me in the loop just in case.

 

I'm offended. It's Uncle/Cousin JimBob and he does not have a side"chew", he keeps his chew of Grizzly in the front of his lip.
