Yeah I would've done it too but it's my dad's 70th birthday today haha

 

Couple of pics from a share we had last night. Some of these bottles came from people in this group at one point or another.





Huna and the 13 BCBS Backyard were highlights for me, as was this year's BCBS Vanilla Rye - all tasted for my first time.

 

You are right Jesse, that's my bad. LC does go for about 17-19 up here too.

Thanks @whyteboy003, this is way better than its BA score. I'm guessing it's because it is called a Sessionable Amber. It's hoppy enough to be an IPA IMO. Thanks brother!

 

$85 per bottle of Cable Car? Is that the take home price? Any bottle limits? Also, $85 for a single bottle Of beer at retail???? Jesus. I thought CC was $50 in the past and I thought that was ridiculous...

 

I actually had this when it first came out and it was just OK (too bitter and the flavors were very raw). Actually now, after a couple months, it is drinking really great! I was extremely unimpressed but now wish they still had more bottles for sale.

I don't think northerners can count. I was supposed to get a small box from @NJB145 because I had his team (MSU) in the Final Pour BIF. Here is what showed up.

Almost looks like spanikopita with cream cheese and tomato jam. Just making crap up at this point :-)

 

Had a tasting on Friday night and 2012 Tide ad Its Takers was one of the biggest surprises for me. Really great triple. Wasn't my favorite beer of the night, but was in the top couple surprises for me.

 

BTW, that Smurph's Blood up near the beginning is from @PA-Michigander and was very well received! The hit of the evening was the 2014 Parabola, CCB Hunahpu, and WW Red Angel, but those are probably to be expected We did get crazy and start mixing Hunahpu and Columella...
