I feel like if we get even one more person involved we should also try to pick a time just so it's something more set in stone -- idk how busy they generally get, especially on a thursday night, but maybe 6pm?

It's a really small place, so anything more than 6 or 8 people is "crowded". With that said, I doubt they'll be crowded.

Almost sounds like Liquid Hero here in York... if memory serves there's enough seats in that entire place for... maybe 20 people? Otherwise you're standing or going somewhere else, though I've never had a problem getting a seat. I like small brewpubs like that though because I can go there and actually have a conversation with the people around me and not feel like I'm yelling or having other people listening in (not that I'm usually discussing things people shouldn't be listening to... but you know what i mean)

Yeah in F&M's case, tht's what you get when your brewpub is in a house and the bar is the living room and the dining area is the dining room.

I have not, yet. Hit me with some details. I doubt I could make it before 7, but maybe that works...

Hey, if you're able to make it, I'm flexible. I'm down for meeting more BAs for a beer (even though you'll be at the share only a little over a week later). I'm just visiting some other friends and while I don't plan to completely abandon them (he's on a super tight budget and probably can't drink because of it but will likely be coming out and she may or may not come out but can't drink beer) I openly planned to hit at least F&M while I'm visiting, so my availability is pretty much completely open unless they decide to surprise me with something I wasn't expecting, plan-wise

The man is purely ridiculous! The shit he comes up with is insanely GOOD! Once he gets going, whoever wants to support him financially won't be disappointed.. Trust me!

I have a beer that I've brewed twice now for July 4th called Red, Wit, and Blue, a raspberry blueberry wit. The taste is quite good (though certainly nothing crazy). Unfortunately both times I've brewed I've screwed up the carbonation because of the fruit and thus haven't really had a chance to drink much of it. The first time I didn't filter the fruit out well enough and ended up with quasi bottle bombs as a result (which might have turned into bottle bombs if I didn't get rid of them quickly) and then the second time I over-corrected, filtered the fruit out completely, and ended up with an undercarbed beer.

If I brewed more I'd switch to a kegging system, would be so much easier...

I'd love to try it - thanks Drew. I'll send something nice back unless you have specific wants from these parts
    Cheers
