Really damn good. Aromas and flavors of blood orange, lemon, lime, wheat, cracker, sea salt, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice fruity/acidic tartness on the finish. Well balanced amount of tartness with sweet blood orange flavors. Very smooth and crisp finish; minimal salinity was noticeable. The aromas do not give off much tart/sour qualities, showing much more sweeter notes of blood orange with pale malt notes. Taste is much more in line with expectations with a slightly sweeter finish than the original. Overall it's delicious, but I still give a bit of a higher nod to the original as it has more complexity going on with more pronounced sea salt and coriander spices along with salinity in the mouthfeel. This one is a lot more drinkable in contrast(lower acidity overall). I'd have either any day of the week.

Really nice English porter! Lasting head and lacing the whole glass because of nitro. Aromas and flavors of milk chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, toffee, toast, brown bread, nuttiness, and cream; with a touch of herbal hop presence and light dark fruity yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness on the finish. Good roasted bitter/sweet balance of flavors. Really nicely robust malt flavors with a smooth and creamy finish. Minimal complaints other than a muted aromas, and the nitro is to blame there. The nitro thing blew up oddly after I opened it and overflowed a bit, and ended up pouring out the head after the beer. Weird stuff lol.

Really nice tripel. Aromas and flavors of apricot, pear, apple, white grape, light banana, biscuit, honey, vanilla, oak, herbal, pepper, clove, and light bourbon. Fair amount of peppery yeast and oak spice on the finish. Well balanced yeast, malt, and barrel presence. Very smooth sipping with minimal warmth lingering after the finish for alcohol. Also well attenuated overall with a nice mouthfeel that is not overly heavy; around medium bodied. Very enjoyable and really well done. PS this is unique Tripel #99. I need to go find that Sweetwater Anniv Tripel when I go back to Ohio for memorial day and round it out; then keep looking for more.

JBM Speedway. Supposed to be a special occasion today, it's my Mom's birthday. Only issue is that she was killed in a car accident July 23 of last year. Cheers to you Mom for the great privilege of being your son and for your amazing 70 years of life!!

Titan doesn't seem to get the same love as Sculpin or Two Hearted, for example, but I'll contend that is just as good as either, or any number of peer IPAs. So glad to find some reasonably fresh recently. I'd love to get 'em all at similar freshnesses and compare 'em, y'know? :stuck_out_tongue: Ah, I just wanna drink 'em all - who'm I kidding?

    Fire 'em all, Pete!

    ...'specially the moist ones! :grinning:

Jimi always knew what it was all about...

    Cheers, BA...

Bonus points: Happy birthday, Jack... :sunglasses:

I drank a few bottles recently and it is a treat. Smooth lager with a hint of smoked malts. Wasn't overly hoppy like some helles but I deemed it glorious.

Celebrated my sister-in-laws birthday at the Granite City that just opened around here. The house beers are okay (the bock was the best, in my humble), but they also had a nice local selection on tap as well.

I had the classic flight: Northern Lager, The Bennie (bock), The Duke (pale ale), and Broad Axe (stout)

NEVER grow tired of this stuff - it's good when fresh, good when old ... can't go wrong; in the group of Weyerbacher's finest.

Evening closer for mwah, time to chill down and enjoy some mellow complexity.
