    Gettysburg Address:

Eleven score and nineteen years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men (and woman) can consume equal amounts of beer.

Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that recycling plant, as a final resting place for those beers who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.

But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate -- we can not consecrate -- we can not hallow -- this recycling plant. The brave beers, living and consumed, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to recycle aluminum and glass. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the living (but inebriated), rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us -- that from these honored consumed adult beverages we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion -- that we here highly resolve that these consumed shall not have been consumed in vain -- that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that beer for the people, by the people, consumed by the people, shall not perish from the earth.

I suspect that should be renamed the Gettysbrew Address.

This should cover all your watershed-related questions:
    http://water.usgs.gov/wsc/map_index.html

Basically, eastern NY, most of PA other than Pittsburgh, New Jersey, Maryland and much of NoVa are in one watershed. Almost all of New England is in another watershed, but that cuts out things like Tired Hands, F&M, etc.

BTW, the Alleghany Mountains prevent the Great Lakes from really supplying any water to New England or most of NY and PA. The Great Lakes are drains anyway and don't supply water to anyone, rivers drain into them as opposed to being sourced there. While it seems crazy after looking at Niagara Falls, very little water actually leaves the Great Lakes (less than 1% of the volume of the system). About 7k cubic feet/second exit along the St Lawrence Riverway. A little lives via diversion rivers in Chicago and enters the Mississippi drainage basin (a very little in comparison) and some small amount is used to source water for cities on the lakes. Most of what enters stays though.

This lesson on US hydrology brought to you be the letter T

So you're saying all we have to do is reverse the direction of flow and all our faucets will flow with NE Hops??? It's so crazy it just might work!
