I respectfully disagree. Granted I do not buy the pedestrian Natty Greene's nor do I have any financial ties to the company but to say ALL of their beers are bad or "t-r-b-l" may be your opinion BUT not likely shared by most BAs if you see their lineup on BA. NG has an Amazing sour program….too bad they don't put out more of these regularly.

Did you get to try any Backwoods Bastard? That's my favorite founders brew.

Yes, this is by far the worst. I never drain pour but I thought about it with this. I managed to choke it down after about an hour of sipping. Gave the rest to my roommate who was already drunk, he said, "hey, these are actually pretty good." Told him to have at it.

Agreed, it tasted like cough medicine, and I would rather drink the cough medicine. But it's founders so the it's hyped and the actual taste isn't reflected in the score.

Definitely the most undrinkable beer I've ever had was King Cobra. In college, when any swill would do, I couldn't stomach even 20oz of the 40oz bottle.

But, if we're talking craft beer, I really had a problem with River Horse's Tripel Horse:

    2.16/5 rDev -41.5%
    look: 3.25 | smell: 2.75 | taste: 1.5 | feel: 3 | overall: 2

Maybe it was just that the 6-pack wasn't treated well before I bought it, but the fact that there was a taste that was not unlike bile turned me off to this beer and the brewery.

Would have to be Franziskaner Weissbier Dunkel. Found out real quick i don't like wheat beer. i seen it was a German beer - plus. Also it was a Dunkel, another plus. Wrong! Stuff was soo bad i tried like hell to drink half of the glass but found myself gagging after every sip. I tried, no dice. Shit tasted like someone exhumed a dead body. Stole their socks and made beer out of it. Sry guess German wheat beer aint for me... blaaah

I guess having drunk 1,000+ cans of it in my youth I couldn't fairly call it one of the worst beers I've ever tried.

    These answers:

"Yeah I picked up some textbook definition of a beer and it wasn't my taste so it's awful."

"I hate sours so this sour was gross."

    Come on guys.

So in the thread "Worst beer you've tasted", this guy says "Founders sucks!"

    Thousands upon thousands disagree, Bub.

There're a difference between "disappointed in the offerings" and "worst beer you've tried".

My only drain pour ever was Monday Nights eye patch ale. I don't know, I don't think it was but it might have been old.

Aside from the BMCs, I would say Epic Brewing Co. 825 State Stout.

Sam Adams Triple Bock from the 90s. Tasted like soy sauce and dead babies.

The general consensus is that this one gets way better with age.

Grant it this was earlier in my intro to craft beers so i might need to give it another shot but the worst nonBMC beer I have tasted was Brooklyn Sorachi Ace. My wife hated it as well. It's also my biggest negative deviation in rating

Flying dog raging bitch was pretty bad. First I thought I didn't like the BIPA style then I had others that were great and realized how crap it was.
