Nabbed a single bottle yesterday (beer store only received a case and I felt obliged to spread it around). I have a feeling I'll want to pick up more today as it hits the other local stores...

unfortunately a lot of places jack up the prices. nothing you can do besides buy elsewhere. but it will do no good because someone will always pay it. it's just like KBS every year, people complain and complain about the price, yet they still pay it. i try to be as fair as possible and on par, if not cheaper then most, with our pricing. if i want something, i just buy it. but i know not everyone has the same financial situation. it sucks paying more then you expect but sometimes it's more then worth it.

I think all breweries should put the wholesale price on the beer kinda the way Metallica did with Garage Days: the $5.98 EP. That way we all know how much, if any, we're being gouged at the register. I've never bought a single founders backstage because there is clearly gouging on the wholesale AND retail end. Backstage just feels like an insult to my intelligence

Got three bottles today, was $3.00/bottle. One place had a 1 bottle limit, the other had a three bottle limit.
I wonder how many cases a limitGonlimited usually gets. Woodmaster, Moher Stout, and Freedom of 78 are still readily available in sixers in my area. Superfluid seems gone, and we knew Anni was going to be really limited from the start.
In any case, I can't wait to crack one of those bad boys open tonight!

I checked 4 stores today and none of them had any anni. Super pissed since it's my favorite. I'm looking for a case if anyone has any...

Anyone out there have any input on aged anni? I'm scoring a case on Wednesday and want a little feedback if I can age it and if it tastes better/worse. I know it is pretty amazing drank fresh but I don't have much experience with wheatwines and aging.

Had an almost two year old bottle about 4 months ago with my wife and while we both really still enjoyed it, I'd say drink the vast majority of that case fresh. The blood orange drops off as does the peppercorn, it did smooth out as far as heat but there was so little to begin with I wouldn't say it's a better beer with some time on it.

...and it was a good one. Thanks for probably the best answer I've ever got on BA. Good advice AND an awesome picture. I suppose I'll drink most of them now and maybe hold 1 or 2 back just for shits. Cheers

agreed. Drink them fresh. They lose body/mouth feel after a year.

If anyone knows of a place in Oakland county or near Farmington that has it for sale let me know. I missed out on the release last week.

Or if you wanna trade a 6'er let me know

I missed this last year, but snagged a six-pack this year. Instant Short's favorite!
