Correct. It's not showing up for me.

Are people not a fan of Rye Sucre? It sounds pretty damn awesome. Rye-on-Rye is one of my favorite beers.

If I remember correctly this was a Preservation beer last year for one of the quarterly shipments.

They released so many Sucre variants that 1) a lot of people became conceptually fatigued and 2) people have a lot of the various treatments sitting around in their cellars. There's nothing wrong with the beer itself, but these sales are more about moving inventory on beers that they have excess of than giving people a second chance at the rarest and most exciting releases.

I don't think its that people don't like the Sucre variants. Its more that many of us have had our fill of them. I was a PS member last year and still had my share of the Sucre variants.

I still need to try Cuivre. Which I'm fairly sure I will like. So I'll just buy this year's Anniversary Ale, rather than the aged ones.

Yeah, so far my wallet is thanking me. It does make sense though, its an anniversary sale so they are trying to push out just anniversary beers right now. I know they have other stuff in mind though so hopefully we still start seeing those next week at the latest.

I'm glad there's finally a beer I DON'T want to buy. Loved Sucre, but Rye barrels (or Rye whiskey for that matter) aren't my favorite.

You might have a shot at some of these anniversary variants on Monday. As someone mentioned before, many of them have been offered to PS before. I was PS last year and was able to get Rye, Tequila, Madeira and Tawny Port Sucre. I really liked the Rye and Tequila the best as they were less sweet to me than regular Sucre.

I feel like Bruery should have a tasting membership for those who do not want the bottles. Charge a fee or something of the sort, some people want to enjoy the beers without having to pay $300+ to get allocations. Yes, takes away from being a member, but also more accessible to those who may visit from out of state and wont get an opportunity to taste. Food for thought.

It makes more sense that they're trying to move excess inventory through these, and all those variant anniversary beers are nothing but dead weight to them. Shinning up them over priced bottles with the vintage sale is a nice way to push sales on them.
