They frequently start new beers out as RS/HS-exclusive pours to a couple weeks, then open them up to everyone when they release bottles to the public. I would expect it to become non-exclusive by the end of the month.

Putting them up one at a time again is actually kind of nice because people have already had a chance to try them and figure out which ones were their favorites. No one is forcing RS/HS members to buy every variant and "burn out" on them again

And to address the past 5-10 pages of posts - I also don't see how any of these releases are a surprise so far. It's their anniversary month. It would make sense that they're bringing out their anniversary beers. People are just complaining because they would rather see other releases (which reeks a little bit of entitlement to me). Just because The Bruery isn't releasing everyone's personal favorite beer every single day doesn't mean everyone should be this up in arms. This thread has turned into a chat room instead of an actual info source and forum for well thought out discussion. We don't need 10 people cluttering it up every single time a release is announced saying that it's "meh" and that their wallet is thankful. We get it. Stop cluttering this thread and making it difficult to actually retrieve any worthwhile information.

Exactly. If the anniversary beers were the .RARs and/or the best the Bruery had to offer folks would be creaming their pants so far.

I was thinking a "2nd Half of 2015 Bruery Society thread".... A thread without whining and crying about not getting reminder emails, beers you're entitled to, how much you spent and you didn't get into HS, etc.. I get enough whining from my 2 1/2 year old!

2nd Half thread is not a bad idea, but I'm not convinced that it won't devolve the same way this thread did

That's what I'm talking about. Lugosi is fantastic, both BL offerings sounds interesting and MacLeod is always a pleasure to drink.

BL had both of those at their anniversary week. I didn't care too much for Passionate Dragon, but Fundamental Observation was amazing. It's pretty heavy on the vanilla, so if that's not your thing, you may not like it.

For those of us that have not been to The Bruery Anniversary before, how quick is the check in and how early should you be there?

The line for RS was pretty long last year, I would suggest 30-40 minutes early at least if you're RS. It goes pretty quickly though.

Yeah, and last year the HS line was closest to the parking lot so we had to keep giving PSAs to RS folks getting in the HS line so they didn't waste time there. But with the early entry for HS that shouldn't be a problem this year.

    new cask this weekend...

    1. Meet the Bruer: Brian's Vanilla Latte: This Friday we'll be continuing our string of Meet The Bruer events here in the Tasting Room. This time we'll be meeting Brian, our resident brewery logistics guru and home-brew nerd. For his cask he took the base unspiced brew for Or Xata and added in a healthy dose of espresso shots & vanilla. Brian and his delicious cask will both be available at 5:30 PM this Friday.
