I have the hawks in the NHL Playoffs BIF! Not my normal team (flyers) but rooting for them these playoffs especially because of Kimmo!!! Rooting for them to win tonight because then I'm "in the beer" (payouts are 7-3-1-1)

Alright so it gets better the longer it ages. Wasnt sure if it was one of those anythign older than 2 years its bad beers.

Stouts over 5 start to slip I'd say 6 maybe 7 given the abv. Wax is a myth sorry but it doesn't prevent much

Yet again one I drank the other night... liked it a lot though could barely taste any coconut

 

Not a lot of coconut here either, but I can definitely get coconut and/or almond (mostly almond) on the nose depending on the "sniff", and it leaves a pretty silky (but not thick) coating on my tongue... I had hoped for a little more, but pretty solid.

Now if I can just get my hands on some Cake when it comes out again...

 

Agreed -- I got a good amount of coconut and almond on the nose. The taste was all almond and chocolate though, which isn't an awful thing, had just hoped for me coconut as I'm a fan of the flavor

 

I've added Cake to the bottles we need to drink. I have a running list. I got you Matt.

 

Lol, I do try to sling that one around as I loved it. Crux is relatively new and I think they put out some great stuff every now and then. A few of their IPAs are pretty solid when fresh. The only downside to those lil' Tough Love bottles is the $13ish price tag, which is steep for 12oz. But still, I think its well worth trying!
