Here's some info on what to expect for the 3 day event. I'll be there tonight & tomorrow. Some special releases tonight. http://www.beachcitybrewery.com/events/ BCB has come a long way since the grand opening a year ago. I was at the grand opening last year in May and it wasn't pretty. But I've been a local going at least once a week ever since. And I can say this, they are putting out some good beers and they will continue to grow. A HUGE congratulations to Glenn, Doug, Harrison, newest brewer Jim and of course brewmaster Derek, who just celebrated a birthday last week and has many many more years of brewing ahead of him. He will just keep on getting better and strong.

Not so rough on OP. That's why I provided the link above. Tonight should be crazy with all the selections. I hope Ted built my chair next to the taps.
An crazy epic night at BCB. Outside and inside was packed wall to wall when I got there just after 7. Today will be even more packed for day 2 of a 3 day event. First glass was their very hopped up DIPA tapped from the Brite Tank. And this is an exclusive Saturday release. But for Friday night it was on cask for all to enjoy. And I'll say I liked both style. Very hoppy and bitter makes for a very happy beer drinker. Up next was the raspberry sour. I believe Dereks first sour. I can say I'm not a sour drinker period. But I will try sours every now and then. To me it was a very mild sour taste. More raspberries up front. Pretty good. The BB aged Ruski was just like I remember from his first batch many months ago. Just aged more. And coming in at under 13% that was my last glass before calling it quits. I'll save room for all the other goodies today. BCB has definitely upped its game since a year ago. What a remarkable crew. I think I heard a record number of glasses being broken last night. A lot of cleaning up.
