Any great Canadian IPA's?

    I think the OP is looking for something he can find in New York. Unfortunately, I don't think I've ever seen a Canadian IPA on the other side of the border (in the east). Actually, aside from unibroue and some DDC, almost nothing from Quebec makes it to the States

    In Ontario, both Headstock IPA and Sawdust City Lone Pine IPA are great but don't get much press. Spearhead's Hawaiian Style Pale Ale and Cameron's Rye Pale Ale are excellent as well but are not technically IPA's.

    Bellwood's Roman Candle is wonderful but you'd have to go to the brewery to have any chance of getting it.

    I vote Great Lakes. The three below are around the same quality as Two Hearted or Sculpin.

    1. Karma Citra: Citra, Columbus
    2. Lake Effect: Citra, Sorachi Ace, Centennial
    3. Thrust! IPA: Nelson Sauvin, Citra, Mosaic

    *They seem better on tap than bottled, especially Thrust!

    I've seen this in Maine for sure. It seems to me it is renamed as Red Betty IPA in the US though.

    Red Racer (or Red Betty as its known as stateside) gets tons of distro. See it all over in WA, ID, AZ,CA,OR
