Meh, both online and in the tasting room Rye Bois.

 

Wallet breathed a sigh a relief.

 

I actually really enjoyed Rye and Brandy Bois, but I get paid tomorrow... so if they're still up I'll snag a Brandy.

 

Has 2013 SitR been up?

Edit: Looks like it has been up, but it's now up to limit 4. Maybe it always was and I'm just oblivious.

 

I dont know about y'all, but Im maxing out. Rye Bois and Sucre were my favorite variants of the last two years, and when I found out that they werent making any Rye Cuivre, I bought a half case of the Rye Sucre, but was still sad I only had 1 Rye Bois left. Today I am happy.

I don't think they're doing any this year. I also heard that they may be stop doing anniversary beers altogether.

Where did you hear that about not doing anymore anniversary beers? I would be quite shocked if that happened. Locally members are burned out but I know they do well around the country.

There are for sure no variants this year though.

 

I read something too that they're not doing variants. i can't remember if it was here or on Instagram.

 

I don't have a direct source but I was talking with my boss yesterday about it and he mentioned it to me. I didn't ask further, and it didn't sound like it was set in stone or anything like that.

 

I hope that's not true, the anniversary beer is one of my favorites. I wish I could use my discount to purchase more, but the shipping kills me. I put out feelers to several stores so I can piece together a case.

 

Well, considering that they use the Solera method, it's a perpetual anniversary beer always in barrels... if they were to stop, they'd have a bunch of anniversary barrels in various states of age. I honestly doubt they'll stop making an anniversary beer.

 

First part is correct. Bourbon Barrel Aged Cuivre is the only version of our Anniversary beer that we'll be releasing this year.

However, the second part is not. As far as I know, we do plan on continuing the making our Anniversary beer. I would be very sad if we stopped making that one!

Anyone from the LA area headed to the anniversary party with extra car seats? My buddy and I were unable to find a DD, and would rather give our $ (or beer) to some benevolent BAs than to Uber. Shoot me a message if interested.
