Polishing off Sierra Nevada Pale Bock number two right now. Perfect spring beer for the Chico climate.

    Greetings, LNBA'ers!

Weyerbacher (PA) Sunday Morning (BA) Stout

I had this a couple weeks ago, and it tasted very hot. But that tasting was smack dab in the middle of an enormous stout night with a friend — one in which none other than Hunahpuh was involved. So I thought I'd hold off on a review then, and now I'm glad I did. It's tasting much better tonight. Still don't think it's a KBS-killer, though. Admittedly, I'm from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, so I had hoped it held up to the hype!

    Cheers!

Having a Real Ale version of Blakkr from 3/11/14 courtesy of @Rootscipio It's roasty, toasty, a bit chewy, and interestingly yummy. Check out that head!!!

First time with a Ten Fidy (despite tasting almost the entire Oskar Blues line well before this), and while I admire everything it puts forth I prefer a stout that shows through with primarily coffee, chocolate, and even oatmeal. Ten Fidy is much stronger with dark fruits and alcohol, still enjoyable, just not my favorite style.

Not really, but given the size of my computer desk it is pretty easy to consistently set up the same shot and lighting. I like consistency :grinning:

    Finishers:

Thought I was out of these, but found another one. A bit old but still delicious.

Picked another random single of this last week. Really nice pale wheat ale. Fruity/spicy American wheat yeast; with wheat/biscuity malts, honey-like agave, and some herbal/earthy hops with balanced bitter/spiciness. Really tasty and well balanced stuff. Good robust flavors.

My go-to brown ale when I am feeling the roastier side of the style. Nutty caramel, toffee, cocoa, chocolate, toast, and biscuit; with a balanced roasty bitter finish. So delicious.

Incredible every single year. Huge mango, passion fruit, pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, citrus rind, and pine; with moderate honey/bready malts and very smooth/sticky finish; with a low level of malt sweetness given the ABV. They nail it every year. I need to go buy another 4 pack.

Ruination 2.0. A very good dipa and definitely worthy of following the original icon. Pine, resin, citrus. A nice updated version.

A couple of homemade enchiladas and a 4 Hands Contact High. It says right on the can to pair with spicy food, so I obliged.
