    This is the Europe one as far as I know. A RTP went to the brewery on vacation and brought one home for me

    Quick shout out to @devilfluff for a #pickitupformebro in the form of the Kane Morning Bell.

    Also, since no one in this group has the capability of sending one bottle, there's a few extras in there as well:sunglasses:

    [IMG]

    Carton Dub7 - in the fridge yo - one of my favorite IPA of the last year
    Full Pint Rye Rebellion - Big stout aged in rye barrels - sounds yummy to me
    Kane Morning Bell - looking forward to it
    Flying Fish Rojo Grande - overhopped red ale aged in Cuervo barrels - like tequila and has to be better than Agave Maria
    Smuttlabs Daily Brett - love Brett beers
    Sixpoint Jammer - I'm a Sixpoint fan and like me some gose
    Forgotten Boardwalk Funnel Cake - brewery here in MI makes a Vanilla cream ale that I rather enjoy and just had this week so looking forward to the comparison

    Thanks Jesse!

    Watch yo porch for an inbound next week!:grinning:

    I had the recent batch on tap. It was fine, wouldn't pay $20 for a bottle.

    I would much rather spend my $20 on Fyodor's Classic, given the choice.

    Kind of weird this is under discussion tonight - friend of mine just opened the most recent batch about 10 minutes ago, he said booty:slight_frown:

    @LehighAce06 is exactly right. Bio stands for "biologique", French for "Organic". Not especially needed for Cantillon since everything they brew is organic. This is also why you have the flower on the label of the regular line up bottles in Europe.

    Second reminder for the...

    NBO - Horizontalhood Trip #9

    If you would like to be in consideration to be the recipient of a 6-shipper box filled with great stuff, please BM me your shipping address (or just say "it's in the directory"). If you would prefer to skip this trip and sign up for a future trip, don't send me anything and wait for the next person to post their NBO to sign up. Also, please let me know IF there are any specific styles you do or don't like, since that may impact what's in the box or who I choose. Signup period ends at 8PM on Wednesday, May 20th -- I'm avoiding midnight since I never know which of the two days that is, plus this way I can give a few hints before I ship on Monday the 25th . And I know I'm giving more time than usual, but that's just because I figured I might as well post this early -- I won't get a chance to pack or ship anything for at least a week. Wednesday night I will randomly select the recipient and start posting hints as to who it is. Box will be shipped on the 25th!

    Trip #1 - Texas (@Clarkson )--> Illinois (@Ncpogs )
    Trip #2 - Illinois (@Ncpogs )--> NJ (@Syracuse12)
    Trip #3 - NJ (@Syracuse12) --> VA (@Dave_Treat)
    Trip #4 - VA (@Dave_Treat) --> FL (@valrxman)
    Trip #5 - FL (@valrxman) --> PA (@JNForsyth)
    Trip #6 - PA (@JNForsyth) --> MA (@xICooRsYIx
    Trip#7 - MA (@xICooRsYIx) --> IN (@MCMASTERSANCHEZ)
    Trip #8 - IN (@MCMASTERSANCHEZ --> NY (@Mikexw)
    Trip #9 - NY (@Mikexw) --> ???

    See official rules below....
    ----------------------------------------------
    How Horizontalhood works:
    1) Some of my favorite beers have come from a brewery “Sampler” trade where I ask my trading partner to throw in a whole brewery’s lineup. If I didn’t do this, I would have only had Lunch, and not a tiny beautiful something. I might have only had Jai Alai and not Tocobaga. I night have only had Milller Lite and not MGD (just seeing if anyone is paying attention). So the purpose of this BIF is to showcase your local brewery’s line up and send something that wouldn’t normally be asked for. Show that your local brewery is not a one trick pony.
    2) The current holder of the Horizontalhood box will make a post in the Locals BIF thread saying that the signup period for the next Trip is open and will be open for 2 or 3 (or 9) days. Anyone that would like to be a potential target for the box would send their address information in a BM to the current holder of the box. To be eligible the person must have:
    a) participated in Locals BIF rounds 1, 2 (summer 6'er), 3, 4 (Winter 6’er), ACJ BIF or be one of the new faces (avatars) that have recently joined us prior to this Trips NBO post -- that's basically the guys (and gal) in the directory and about 3 or 4 others.
    b) have not already received the Horizontalhood box.
    3) After the signup period is over, the current holder will randomly pick the next lucky recipient of the Horizontalhood box. They will not announce this person nor the number of people that signed up, but instead will start posting hints as to where the box is going (BIF style hints). If no one signs up to be the next recipient then, as the original founder, @Clarkson will be the final recipient (hopefully without him knowing that it is coming to him).
    4) The holder of the Horizontalhood box will fill the box with high quality local bottles from A SINGLE LOCAL BREWERY ONLY, and ship it to the target. Make it a kickass box, but with this group of people I know we won't have to worry about that. Also, add the targets name to the tracking board in the box and add any 'decorations' that you wish to help commemorate the box's visit to your state. You may add one piece of swag in place of one beer, but it has to come from the brewery that is in the box.
    5) Once the box is received by the target, they will post the pr0n for all to enjoy.
    6) Start over at #1

    You do not have to enter every signup period. You can pick and choose when you want to be in consideration to be the next recipient. This would be nice if the current holder of the box is from your own state or an adjoining state or if you.
    Cheers!

    Sign ups will end at 8PM on Wednesday, May 20th.

    Me too. Unfortunately we don't have the choice - I wish they'd send that stuff out here.

    I saw that @EA728 had one tonight too and was not fond of it.

    That's ok, while I keep drinking all the Jackie O's you send, a box with your name on it keeps growing. Pretty soon you're going to have to move again due to the irrepairable foundation damage.

    Yeah, send me a BM though just so I know I have you

    That said, Signups for the current "almost anniversary" locals "6er" round are closing in just over 48 hours (sunday at midnight)

    If you haven't already, send me a BM with your info (unless it's in the directory spreadsheet but still BM me with interest) as well as style likes/dislikes. Here's the list of people I already have BMs from (not gonna actually tag as I don't wish to make multiple posts tagging people)

    So far looks like it'll be a fairly small round unless I get an influx of signups in the next 2 days. If I missed anyone let me know. Given my work schedule (6 days woo) for next week, not 100% certain when I'll get targets out, but it'll most likely be Wednesday or Thursday.

    No need to discuss in private. I can make this happen for you, all summer long. Just say the code word..

    The code word is.. dixie.

    PS. I'll be in Asheville next weekend, but I'll have boxes on trucks the week following.
