This great box of wants, neverhads, Yankee propaganda, and a Philly Beer Scene magazine comes from @LehighAce06 via @Mikexw.

2x Sunday Morning Stout - You already know that's a want!
Big Gruesome Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout - That's a want!
Forest & Main Paradisaeidae - Sounds awesome. My first from Forest & Main. I have to say their label art is amazing.
Jack's Abby Hoponius Union - My first from Jack's Abby! Can't wait to try it.
Tired Hands Slowly Rotating Mass With Bright Lights - My first from Tired Hands! I had to open up that growler and pour it into my favorite glass.

    Thanks Kevin and Mike!

Cross Post From 12 Days Of Summer BIF:

I finally got the chance to track down the elusive @Mipper today in his natural habitat and I must say he's a hell of a guy. Needed to pick up some more SMS, a Pizza Boy bottle he picked up for me, and a little something for my 12 days target. He then decided I needed more beer for some reason and I left with these as well:

Lil Beaver The Blond Barista - Say what? Holy shit!
3 Brothers Smooth Sailor - Barrel aged vanilla porter? Sounds good to me!
    New Glarus Enigma - Want!
Dark Horse BBA Plead The 5th - Hot damn, major want of mine!

    Thanks again Eric!

Crosspost from the NHL playoffs BIF. Figured you guys would like some more pr0n. Since the conference finals are underway, 4 people decided to ship out awhile. Got my first (and hopefully not last) box from the BIF today!

Slightly blurry pic, but didn't realize that until after I uploaded it, oops

    Peace Tree Brewing Imperial Stout
    Funky Buddha Last Snow
    Shorts Sustenance Black Beer
    Shorts Ester "Extra Pale Ale"
    Shorts Counterculture Common
    Shorts The Village Reserve

@JasonR1975 sent me some shorts beers in his box the first locals round I joined, and I'm stoked to get to try more of their offerings. None of the ones I had stood out as extraordinary (in fact I'd say one or two of them IIRC I definitely wouldn't search out again, but still loved the opportunity to try new stuff), but they were definitely a cool brewery who seemed to try different things (strawberry shortscake comes to mind...) and their labels are pretty damn cool. Also Last Snow was yet another "stealth want" of mine (didn't bother trying to get into the last snow action before because I didn't want to have to commit to more return fire, and I missed getting a pour of it at the locals share) and the Peace Tree definitely looks good.

Stupid question when it comes to shipping but I've only received this way and not sent this way --

when using a styro shipper, obviously you still want to pack well, but how much more protected are the bottles? For example, I always wrap each bottle in 2-3 square feet of bubble wrap, then use another 1 square each on the top and bottom, rubber banded over. When using a styro, is it as important to pack that conservatively, or is some bubble wrap around it and some kind of padding on top/bottom (be it plastic bags, paper, etc) generally sufficient? The box I just got actually had JUST the top/bottom padding and no bubble wrap and it came fine, but I'm sending out a box soon and want to make sure I'll be good without completely overpacking (as it is I had to remove a little bit because one of the slots didn't want to close...)

I probably tend to overpack/wrap when I ship stuff (normally bubblewrap and cling-wrap type stuff around it), but when I do a styro shipper I just try to make sure things fit tightly -- depending on bottle size, there are different ways of doing that. But I think last time I shipped I packed some of the smaller bottles so tightly that when my target lifted off the top piece of styro, the bottle would come up with it. I don't think you have to be as conservative as you would normally be, EXCEPT when you have multiple objects (can and bottlle, can and glass, or bottle and glass) in one compartment.

VBS.. @UcDru sent me this about 6 or 7 months ago as part of a trade, I just drank it tonight and it went great with cheesecake for my mother-in-law's 93rd birthday. This is actually a picture of the second glass from the bottle, since it seemed to have more blackberry clots in it -- it seriously looks like a smoothie in person.

It was a pleasure meeting you and getting another handshake taken care of. AND...........you are exaggerating. Your little one pulled his Binky out......pointed it at me, then pointed at my cellar and pointed back at you. He then did the throat slit gesture..............I was terrified!!! I had to give you beer. The Lil Beaver was one I already had and it is a fantastic Blonde made with the JBM coffee i sent him.

Well that may or may not have happened.....but you are NOT innocent...He brought these:

Glad that the mini-bomb hit its target! When you and @UcDru showed interest and then insisted the Square Grouper go to the other, you became insta-targets. Any excuse to fortify a fellow northerner's stores or bomb a dirty rebel is a good enough excuse for me.

All you southerners are here by put on notice, the cannons are preparing to reload..
